What you'll do
Kids will have a great experience choosing, designing, and painting their ceramic shape. Perfect for school holiday activities and casual drop-in sessions!This is a fun, creative, and safe activity for kids of all ages, from 6-year-olds who can be dropped off for the session, although parents are welcome to stay. It is also a great activity for older kids who want to make more detailed pieces. Using ceramic paint, stencils, and other aids, plus a large range of 3-dimensional ceramic designs, kids design, decorate, and paint ceramic pieces in a fun and artistic environment.The activity begins with children choosing their bisqueware (ceramic shapes) from a wide array of designs (about 80), including rainbows, unicorns, handbags, mermaids, cars, trains, and many more, many of which are functional. Then, they create their designs and paint them in their unique style. This is a stimulating, fun, creative, and relaxing activity. It is a beautiful experience to do with your child.Making a ceramic piece is a calming and mindful experience. This, together with being creative, social, and relaxing, makes it a unique experience where kids are happy to leave their technology at home and enjoy the moment.During this workshop, children can either make one larger piece or two smaller pieces. If they end early, they can do some clay building.Come and give it a go!Children will leave their pieces with us for firing and will be notified when to pick them up. Turnaround time will be around 3 weeks.
What you'll get
- You can choose one large or one medium and one small ceramic design of your choice.
- You will learn to paint using paint, stencils, and aids to decorate your design, then leave it to us to fire.
- Fired pieces can be picked up approx. 3 weeks later. We will message you when ready.
- The experience is very satisfying and is a big feature in itself.

Most suitable for children aged 6 years and older. Children can be accompanied by an adult.

We run adult classes, specialised workshops and casual sessions, team building workshops and corporate events in either mosaic or glass fusing. We also offer kids classes, casual sessions and holiday programs. You don’t need any experience to attend. We have great, well-trained and friendly staff who will help you with your creations.
