Join this pottery course in Melbourne over four sessions!
Session 1 · Wheel Throwing Basics:
Start your pottery journey with fundamental throwing skills. You will learn how to prepare clay, centre the clay on the wheel, and shape simple forms such as cups, bowls, or small vessels. No experience needed—step-by-step guidance provided.
Session 2 · Hand-Building Creation:
Explore creative hand-building techniques, including pinching, coiling, and slabbing, to make your own unique small vessels, decorations, or cute ornaments. This class encourages creativity, relaxation, and self-expression.
Session 3 · Smoothing and Glazing:
This week, you will refine and perfect your previously made pottery pieces by smoothing the base for a clean, professional finish. You will also have dedicated time to review and practise the essential wheel-throwing skills, especially clay centring, to strengthen your technique and build confidence. After refining, you will learn how to glaze and paint your works with vibrant colours.
Complimentary signature studio drink.

Heer Tea – Where Tradition Meets Creativity
Nestled near Box Hill, Heer Tea is not just a cafe—it’s an immersive experience where tea culture, mixology, and art come together. We take you beyond the ordinary with a menu that blends tradition and innovation, featuring signature drinks like Chinese tea-infused cocktails and authentic matcha creations.
Our teaching team brings 9 years of expertise in the tea education and ceremonies performance, along with over 5 years in incense crafting and fragrance studies. Passionate about innovating through East-West cultural fusion, we now weave this knowledge into our café—where every cup and scent tells a story of tradition meets creativity.
More than a cafe, Heer Tea is a place for inspiration, relaxation, and cultural connection—where every sip and every stroke tells a story.
Come for the tea, stay for the experience.
