Throughout the evening, you'll have access to various materials and resources if you get creatively stuck. At the end of the evening, you'll walk away with a renewed sense of inspiration and creativity and some new like-minded friends (or not, we don't mind if you want to create in silence, no judgement here!). There's something truly special about the process of making, and we can't wait to help you tap into your creative potential.
Book with a buddy and enjoy the experience together (and get a discount!) and use it as a catch-up! Remember, this is a drop-in session, so you can come for as long or as little as you like. But bookings essential but no stress if you aren't able to arrive at the start of the session or stay til the end of the session. Even an hour of creative time is better than none.
Reminder, this is not a specific "how to" class, but a space for you to express yourself creatively with Sez as your creative cheer leader.
Join us at Bayside Makerspace and be part of a supportive and inspiring community of crafters, artists, and creators or just hang and chat, whatever you do to fill your cup is perfect.

  • 3/5 from Kate Jewell, attended Nov 2025: Hi Sez, The resources you provide are very inviting and creating a crafting community is a terrific idea however it’s difficult to provide feedback as my experience was mixed. It is impossible to expect a person to change their personality but the constant loud self absorbed talk diminish my enjoyment. This was not improved by the comment ‘I hope we didn’t intimidate you’, which shows self awareness and no care. I was put off. As I say though this cannot be changed nor would I except it to be so I am hesitant to return. A suggestion maybe to have seating suggestions for those with similar personalities. Sitting next to the lady who did the rug hooking may have been more successful for me. Thank you
  • 5/5 from Meagan Woods, attended Oct 2025: Sarah is bright, warm and welcoming. We had a fun time at our first creative huddle. A lovely community of creatives is coming together, inspiring each other and having a laugh along the way. There was so much to see and do at the studio...you might even find the next new hobby you never even knew you needed! Would recommend.
