Eco Resin Homewares Class: Create Your Own Tray

Make your own trinket tray using eco-resin!

1.5 hours

Class size 1 to 7 (public classes), 3 to 10

$95 ($50 per class surcharge applies for private classes)

Design and craft your own eco-resin homeware in this hands-on workshop at Artocracy, one of Brunswick's favorite gift shops and independent creative spaces. Choose your tray shape and size, mix your eco-resin, and customise with your choice of colors, gold flakes and decorative finishes - then take your finished piece home the same day.
What you'll make:
Your own eco-resin tray — choose from a selection of shapes and sizes at the start of the class. Customise with pigments, gold flakes and organic finishes to create a functional homeware piece that's entirely your own.
How it works:
You'll mix and pour your eco-resin into your chosen mold, then while your piece cures (around 30 minutes), explore Artocracy's beautiful gift shop next door. Once cured, you'll add your decorative finishes and take your handcrafted tray home on the day - no waiting, no postage.
What's included:
All eco-resin materials, molds and decorative finishes
Choice of tray shape and size
Step-by-step guidance throughout
Apron provided
No experience needed - suitable for absolute beginners
Perfect for a birthday, hen's party, date night, team building or a creative day out in Brunswick. Private and corporate group bookings welcome - contact us to discuss.

  • 5/5 from Shreya, attended Sep 2026: The class was very informative and I enjoyed a lot. Mitra taught and supported us very well during the class, and solved so many questions I had regarding resin art.
  • 5/5 from Danijela Piskulic, attended Aug 2026: A super fun class with clear instructions from the knowledgeable and lovely instructor, Mitra, and a hand-made tray at the end of it all! The process of making decorative homewares is by far the best part, and doing it alongside a small group of people attracted to it for similar reasons comes as a close second. There is a lot to like about these hands-on classes even for those of us who are not particularly skilled in arts and crafts. Highly recommended!!
  • 5/5 from Gozde Filiz, attended Aug 2026: I love learning new skills and getting creative so we booked the resin workshop with my cousin and we really enjoyed it! Our teacher Mitra was very friendly, patient and attentive. The group atmosphere was also lovely, there were 7 of us women and we were all encouraging each other in a safe, relaxing and warm environment. I loved our end products too! I will use mine as trinket trays for jewellery, and gift one of them to my mum who loved it too. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Hello, I'm Mitra, a multi-disciplinary creator and artist working from my Melbourne studio, where my work is deeply rooted in nature's beauty and organic inspiration.
My creative journey has led me to explore and master various mediums, each offering unique ways to capture the magic of the natural world. From creating delicate yet functional pieces with eco resin to preserving nature's fleeting moments through flower pressing, and expressing natural beauty through painting - every piece tells a story of our connection to the environment.
Through interactive workshops, I help people unlock their creative potential and discover the thrill of artistic expression
