Looking for a meaningful family activity in Adelaide? Step away from screens and spend quality time creating something together. Our Family Pottery Experience is designed for children and adults to explore clay side by side, encouraging creativity, imagination, and confidence through making.
Rather than focusing on perfect results, we encourage every family member to experiment, express ideas, and enjoy the creative journey together. Whether it's your child's very first pottery experience or you're simply looking for a relaxing weekend activity, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels.
During the workshop, you will:
  • Discover the basics of hand-building pottery using simple, beginner-friendly techniques.
  • Design and create your own personalised ceramic pieces together.
  • Experiment with carving, stamping, textures, and decorative details.
  • Learn how ideas develop from imagination into handmade objects.
  • Enjoy guidance while creating at your own pace.
  • Share a memorable creative experience with your family.
Children can make playful sculptures, animals, bowls, or imaginative creations, while adults are welcome to create alongside them or develop their own projects.
After the workshop, your pottery will be carefully dried, glazed, and fired before it's ready to take home approximately 3–4 weeks later.
Every finished piece becomes a lasting reminder of a creative day spent together.
