Pasta is incredible, there is just no denying it!
Join me for a delightful Italian cooking class in Melbourne where you will learn how to make two types of egg pasta from scratch. In this hands-on workshop, you will discover the art of creating tagliatelle and ravioli, classic pasta dishes from the Emilia-Romagna region.
- Become familiar with combining flour and eggs to craft a soft dough and how to roll it using a pasta machine.
- Create tagliatelle, long, flat ribbons of pasta resembling fettuccine.
- Prepare ravioli and their delicious filling, a blend of slow-roasted spinach and ricotta, served with a delectable brown butter and sage sauce.
Throughout the class, you will work with quality ingredients, gaining confidence as you learn new skills. You'll also indulge in a lunch featuring the ravioli alongside assorted cured meats and Italian wine for a truly authentic experience.
At the end of the class in Preston, you will receive 2 complimentary bags of Caputo flour (00 and semolina) and a pasta cutter, allowing you to continue practising your newfound pasta-making expertise at home.
This activity promises to be a rewarding and enjoyable way to spend your morning.
