What you'll do

We are the longest running Terrarium Workshop provider in Melbourne for a reason! We offer a curated experience, expert teachers, high quality materials including the widest range of figurines available, and a huge selection of stunning plants and moss to choose from.

In this hands-on beginner's workshop, you’ll learn all about how these lovely miniature gardens came to be, the art of Terrarium creation and The Plant Whisperer ‘three golden rules of Terrarium success’. In this Tipsy Terrarium class we provide a selection of beer, wine and a grazing platter, lush vibes and we focus on play as we work. (We also offer this as Tranquil ((booze-free)) class - check out our other listings for more details).

This beginners terrarium class is 1.5 hour long and suitable for everyone, no experience is required. We provide our standard ‘fish bowl’ style vessel as default, however offer various upgrades on vessel types which you can select at checkout or on the day (pending stock availability). Join The Plant Whisperer at our luscious jungle studio in sunny Brunswick for one of our most popular classes.

The Plant Whisperer is an offering from Melbourne's own queen of the jungle, Haylee Magendans and her team of Plant Whisperers, Bel, Renee and Albee. We create experiences, bringing people together through nature, with nature.

Combining our biophilic tendencies with our love of creativity we offer a variety of workshops, courses and private events both at our luscious jungle lair in Brunswick, Melbourne and at external locations of our customers choosing - we can come to you!

Our team of plant experts (who happen to also be qualified yoga instructors), will guide you through our renowned classes, breaking things down into easy to understand chunks, and teaching you all the tips and tricks. Expect a memorable experience of connection, intention and creating with purpose.
