Join Caroline Barber and Tee Ferlin for a delightful and enlightening experience at our two lovely matching sublimated candles workshop in Brisbane. In this workshop, you will learn to sublimate your candle jars with a design of your choice and then create a unique candle with your preferred colour and fragrance.
If you're new to candle making or sublimation, there's no need to worry. Our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for all. You'll have the opportunity to explore your creativity in a supportive environment.
Sublimation printing uses heat to turn ink into gas, which then fuses with the surface material, making designs permanent, colourful, and durable. Sublimation printing is a way of "baking" a design directly into a material so it becomes part of it, instead of just sitting on top. This creates amazingly beautiful, vibrant products.
The class will run in a hands-on manner, allowing you to engage with the materials and techniques firsthand. You'll be working with sublimation tools, candle-making supplies, various colours, and fragrances.
Throughout the workshop, you may feel a sense of accomplishment and joy as you see your creations come to life. This activity can be both calming and inspiring, providing a wonderful outlet for self-expression.
By the end of the class, you will take home two lovely matching candles that you have personally designed and handcrafted. It's not just about the candles; it's about the experience and memories you'll cherish from this creative journey.
Caroline is not only a talented artist but also a registered nurse specialising in NDIS clients while Tee has hands on and lived experience in the neurodivergent world. Support workers are also welcome to attend the class at no cost.
