  • 5/5 from Sharlene Leroy-Dyer, attended Apr 2026: I loved this class. The techniques were really well explained and we had guidance at every step. Lots of fun
  • 5/5 from Tracie Bunker, attended Apr 2026: I learnt how to use foil, solder using a soldering iron and flux, and how to clean, polish and use patina on copper. Paul was friendly and was able to help and answer questions when required. He was very patient. I was very happy with my two pairs of earrings. I recommend this class looking at a simple stained glass project. I would be very interested in learning to cut glass and making a sun catcher next.
  • 4/5 from Stephanie Gibert, attended Apr 2026: A little bit long process. quite difficult for beginners in some parts, Teacher was good.
  • 5/5 from Kaitlin Peirce, attended Feb 2026: This was so great!! I could not recommend more. Really kind and thoughtful teaching and I came away with some great earrings. Thank you so much!
  • 5/5 from Jane Fraser, attended Oct 2025: Our class was at the CWA hall in Palmwoods which was so lovely. A very cute place with decades of creative arts and crafts history - perfect for spending a few hours with Paul from Luminous By Nature learning how to make the prettiest stained glass earrings. We had no idea how it was all done but Paul was fantastic in explaining the steps with a bit of historical info thrown in. We felt comfortable handling the glass and solder. Paul was there to guide and support (fix!) with lots of encouragement and support. The results were just wonderful. To think we made these beautiful pieces ourselves! It was such fun and we had bonus tea and cake - very CWA! I’d love to do it again.
  • 5/5 from Leanne Ovenden, attended Apr 2025: Great workshop. Paul was great. New found appreciation for soldering. Great outcome for all the ladies that attended our workshop today.

Hello, My Partner Sheree and I are the Owners of Luminous By Nature. We both found a passion for the art of Stained Glass some time ago, starting out with minimal tools and small market appearances to a full and busy studio from out of Our garage, selling retail products, making windows and conducting workshops on the art, here in Queensland and interstate throughout New South Wales. We are self taught and focus mainly on copper foiling, the Tiffany Method but also create pieces with the traditional leadlighting method as well.
We have invested in Our workshops in such a way that We are mobile and can conduct workshops anywhere that people may want one and have the appropriate space to do so.
We quite often are asked to create commission pieces, attend special market events and art exhibitions to conduct workshops. We have attended festivals as well.
Sheree and I are passionate about the luminosity of the glass We use, vintage and new styles, and Our business name derives from this aspect as well as what We believe to be the true human state of Being.
