Ceramic Marbling and Jewellery Making Class

Experiment with marbling on ceramic beads

2 x 75 mins Class size 1 to 4 guests       $89 (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Make clay beads for jewellery and discover the meditative alchemy of ceramic marbling. Over 2 immersive sessions, transform raw earth into a collection of unique wearable art pieces in the heart of Maleny.
Part 1 (1-hour session, 10am - 11am)
Your journey begins with the raw material. Under expert guidance, you will sculpt your own signature beads and pendants. After this session, your pieces are kiln-fired to a perfect, porous biscuit finish.
Part 2 (1.5-hour session, 11am - 12:30pm)
Return to the studio to breathe life into your fired ceramics. We explore the premium art of marbling (layering specialised inks to create fluid, one-of-a-kind patterns). Watch as the ink binds to the biscuit-fired clay, capturing a moment forever.
Please note that your marbled pieces require a full drying period to ensure the patterns are perfectly set. For this reason, your beads cannot be assembled into a necklace during the second session.
If you would like to complete your jewellery under expert guidance at the studio, you are welcome to book a separate Assembly & Finishing session. Alternatively, you can take your dried treasures home to assemble them at your own pace.

Bio
Professional Ceramicist & Instructor (10 Years Experience)
Based in the heart of Maleny, I am a professional ceramicist with over a decade of experience dedicated to the craft of intentional, slow-made art. My practice is rooted in the belief that pottery is a natural dialogue between the hands and the clay—a grounding way to reconnect with your creativity.
In my studio, I specialize in the art of hand-building and pinching, as well as my signature "drawing with clay" technique using liquid porcelain. I believe that even a beginner’s first piece should be a piece you are truly proud of.
My workshops are designed to be calm, welcoming spaces where we focus on quality and gentle learning, rather than perfection.
My mission is to offer more than just a class; I provide a space to slow down and create. Whether you are learning to shape your first succulent pot or exploring the depth of organic textures, my workshops are designed to help you leave with a piece that reflects both your own expression and a solid foundation of skills.
Join me in my Maleny studio for a peaceful, hands-on experience that connects you to the timeless tradition of working with clay.
