Looking for fun things to do on the Sunshine Coast? Join our relaxed clay hand-building and sip class—perfect for beginners and creatives alike.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of working with earthenware clay, including shaping, joining, and simple texturing techniques. Our experienced instructor will guide you with a live demo introduction chat and provide one-on-one support so you can create a unique piece to take home. Note: everyone makes something different, and it is not highly structured like the throwing wheel sessions.
All materials are included, and you’ll leave with your own handmade creation on the day.
BYO food and drinks studio sessions—perfect for a fun night out with friends.

Wesley Taylor Art Studios is now on the Sunshine Coast, offering its very own pop-up workshops with Clay and Sip hand-building, Paint and Sip, and pottery wheel throwing sessions in our studio, which is also BYO drinks and snacks. We also have Hat Burning and Ceramic pre-glazed painting, both very popular with tourists.
We do private events with your own studio space and teacher. Choose the activity type, go to the drop-down box with dates; the very last one allows you to choose your own event with minimum numbers or cost equal to this for fewer numbers. Put in your request for approval for the studio space. We only have one studio space, so upon approval, it's best to book instantly to avoid disappointment.
The studio is at Stockland Aura Shopping Centre in Baringa
