What you'll do

Working with alcohol ink is vibrant, fun, and mesmerizing - watch the colours swirl across the surface, creating beautiful patterns as they move and blend. This Sydney art class will see you creating alcohol ink works of art that you can use to adorn your space or give as personalised gifts for family and friends!

Enjoy a glass of bubbly as you create unique designs that you can use for homewares, scrapbooking, cardmaking, or jewellery making.

During this three-hour workshop, you'll create a number of artworks to take home, including your favourite piece framed and ready to hang.

This class is held in a relaxed, friendly environment with all materials and a light morning or afternoon tea provided. Treat yourself to a few hours of 'me-time', bring a friend, or even get a group together for even more fun while you create.

Note: 100% Isopropyl Alcohol is used in these classes. Not recommended for use by children or during pregnancy.

Hi, I’m Leanne, artist and creator of Raindrop Creations based in Northwest Sydney, NSW.

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved to create - to make beautiful pieces from anything I could get my hands on, to play with colour, get messy and lose myself in the joy. Creating energises me and soothes me all at once and I love to share my passion for creating with others.

Over the years I've undertaken numerous courses and workshops and have enjoyed building my skills. I've been lucky over the past 18 years I’ve had the pleasure of teaching art and crafts on and off to adults and children in various settings.

I provide workshops in Alcohol Ink Painting, Metal Embossing and Jewellery Making in my home studio in Riverstone. My studio is a place you can come to relax, have a laugh and enjoy learning new skills or practising old ones.

The workshops are an opportunity to get together with friends, meet new people or just enjoy some ‘you’ time, while you learn and create in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

It was a really great hands on class with all materials provided. The teacher was very knowledgeable and also very friendly and relaxed. It was an afternoon well spent with take home artwork. Would recommend it to anyone. Don’t need art skills to produce an artwork worthy of framing.

By far one of the best classes I've ever taken!

I am a total beginner with next to zero creativity and Leanne was able to help with creating pieces that I am really happy about. She is an excellent teacher, patient and clearly passionate about what she does. She went above and beyond in delivering the class (even spending additional time beyond the class to help us).

This was amazing! Leanne is a very nice teacher and does everything she can to make you enjoy her class. All the tools and material you need is provided and you can just try out and play around with everything you like. She even gave me a lift to the train station after the class (which went on for much longer than 3hours, because we all enjoyed it so much), and her mum's carrot cake is delicious!

I have just got back from a fabulous day with Leanne! I have been wanting to try alcohol ink for so long and so glad this is where I tried it, just wish I did it sooner.

Leanne is such a beautiful person. Leanne’s kind and caring nature shone through and this coupled with her passion for her art really helped the experience. Her purpose built “craft castle” (im extremely jealous of) and her mum’s amazing carrot cake made this day for us girls one to remember. We felt so relaxed the time flew by so fast that the class had actually finished and that didn’t bother Leanne that we were still trying all the many techniques we’d learnt. Not only is the day informative for beginners, but such a wonderful day with lots of supplies included and even a choice of frame to fame one of your “masterpieces”. Thanks again for a wonderful day… can’t wait to come back for more

I really enjoyed the class (and the morning tea). Leanne is a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble and she is very supportive without being pushy. All techniques are demonstrated (and repeated if you need), nothing was rushed it was very relaxing. Her amazing workshop has artwork on display which I found both inspiring and helpful and there was plenty of beautiful inks to choose from. Great value for money, I would recommend this workshop - very relaxing and creative.

Amazing experience if you've never done this course before. For me it's my first time. Well equipped with materials that you can freely use to explore your flare. Coffee/tea and other goodies also provided. Class was presented well and had plenty of time to experiment. Take home your own artwork and frame it up! Would highly recommend for those who enjoy this kind of thing. Thumbs up
