Arrive, grab a cuppa, and leave your worries at the door. We begin by settling into our creative space with a gentle, pressure-free warm-up to get your hands moving and your mind relaxed.

Meet Your Creative Toolkit

Meet Your Creative Toolkit

Explore your materials! I’ll introduce you to a beautiful palette of colors and simple, low-mess tools designed for pure experimentation. No complicated techniques to memorize—just pure potential.

Dive Into Play & Experimentation

Dive Into Play & Experimentation

Let go of the 'rules.' You'll be guided through playful, timed prompts to help you layer colors, make marks, and test ideas. Here, there are no mistakes—only happy accidents and discoveries.

Finding Your Creative Flow

Finding Your Creative Flow

Enjoy the rhythm of creation. Once the initial hesitation fades, you’ll sink into a meditative 'flow state,' focusing entirely on the joy of the process rather than worrying about the final result.

Celebrating Your Journey

Celebrating Your Journey

Gather your favorite experimental pages and textures to take home. You’ll leave not just with a collection of unique, personal art, but with a refreshed mind and a new toolkit for stress-less play at home.

Ready to try art journaling without the overwhelm? Join me for a morning of playful experimentation. I’m T, and I focus on simplifying art techniques to make them quick, easy, and satisfying—even if you have a hectic schedule.
Art journaling is the ultimate "Safe Haven." It’s a form of process art where we focus entirely on the act of creating rather than the final product. At its core, this workshop is about trading "creative dread" for play. We have a wonderful community of regulars who join us every month to unwind, relax, and explore new materials alongside like-minded people.
What we’ll do:
Each month, we focus on a specific mixed media technique, product, or tool. I’ll show you how to take professional studio techniques and refine them for real-life application, helping you build a repertoire of skills you can actually use at home. We’ll cut, glue, scribble, and paint our way toward finding your unique creative spark.
Choose your way to play:
The Art Journaling Starter Kit: If you’re new to the craft, this is for you! Opt-in for the kit and you’ll receive your very own hand-crafted art journal and a stencil set to keep. I’ll also provide all the professional-quality products we use during the session.
The "Bring Your Own" Option: If you’re a regular or already have a journal and supplies you love, choose this option and just bring your favourite gear along to the Shed.
This class is for you if:
You want a stress-free way to express your creativity.
You’re looking for a relaxing morning with a welcoming community.
You want to learn how art can be a simple, satisfying part of your daily routine.
There is no right or wrong way to art journal—all you need is a willingness to play. Come for the tips and tricks, stay for the cuppa and the conversation!

Hi, I’m Theresa!
I’m a mixed media artist and crafter. My passion is showing woman how creative activities like colouring, watercolour painting and art journaling can help to manage stress and anxiety to improve their mental health.
As a mum, I know how little time we make for ourselves especially when it comes to taking care of our mental health. My aim is to help you gain a better understanding of the importance of nurturing creativity and why your mental health matters.
The joy of art is in the process but if the process is labour intensive and overwhelming you might give up before you even got started. I have curated three very popular art activities and tweaked and simplified the tools and techniques to make the process quick and easy to complete in a short amount of time, relatively mess free yet satisfying enough for the passionate creative.
I am delighted to share these tried and tested techniques with you, so that you can enjoy your creative time and the benefits of it without adding extra stress and work to your already busy day.
