I'm so glad that I purchased tickets for both my mum and I to "The Sunshine Lane's" Textured Art Painting Workshop. This was a Christmas gift for mum and we both had so much fun attending yesterday's class. Isabelle, who is the owner and was also our teacher yesterday, was so accommodating, helpful, approachable, and didn't make us feel silly for asking a tonne of questions! The venue was perfect forI'm so glad that I purchased tickets for both my mum and I to "The Sunshine Lane's" Textured Art Painting Workshop. This was a Christmas gift for mum and we both had so much fun attending yesterday's class. Isabelle, who is the owner and was also our teacher yesterday, was so accommodating, helpful, approachable, and didn't make us feel silly for asking a tonne of questions! The venue was perfect for our session, even more so as there were only four (4) of us "students" attending. It isn't a massive space, but there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, though I can imagine it would be a wee bit more squishy with the usual 8 to 10 "students". As an Autistic person, I felt comfortable with my sensory surroundings and enjoyed the soft background music being played while we painted. I got the pastel painting workshop as a gift for my birthday and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Shannon was very helpful when selecting the right image to paint and explained the processes before we began, then offered assistance throughout the evening to make sure we were happy with our painting.
