  • 5/5 from Ellysha Hayek, attended May 2026: Such a wonderful experience and a 10/10 date idea :)
  • 5/5 from Howard Lee, attended Apr 2026: Grace and her assistant Alex were great. Grace’s presentation was informative with a touch of humour. There was a demonstration first up and then it was hands on to replicate the dish We had the recipe to guide and Grace and Alex circulated to provide additional help. There were sides of steamed rice and steamed buns to go with the crab. Perfect with a glass of wine included. On top of that we didn’t have to clean up after ourselves.
  • 5/5 from Jodie Drinnan, attended Mar 2026: A fantastic class. Given with great information and a perfect amount of humour along the way. The technique around working with crab was simplified and easy to replicate at home. The recipe was absolutely delicious! There was so much food so go hungry! It’s definitely a 10/10 course. Xx
  • 5/5 from Trina Ray, attended Mar 2026: Fabulous class!
  • 5/5 from Nicole Caratzas, attended Feb 2026: Our Class was fun and informative. Each kitchen station has a group of 4 people, so we were happy that we did it with another couple. Food was delicious! Our class had 24 people, however it didn't seem crowded and each station had it's own table to set and eat at. The clase was set up well.
  • 5/5 from Jennie Siow, attended Sep 2025: Enjoyable class. Started with a great demonstration with multiple televisions of different angles of the cooking demonstration bench to allow people who were seated at different locations to have a good view. Instructions were easy to follow.
  • 5/5 from James Law, attended Sep 2025: A really fun experience! Great to learn some practical skills, meet some new people and have fun eating a delicions meal. The teacher was fun, knowledgeable and patient, making the whole thing a blast, and the sit down dinner was excellent as well.
  • 5/5 from Carissa Mule, attended Jul 2025: Our teacher was amazing. She was entertaining, helpful and made the experience very enjoyable.
  • 5/5 from Agnes Nguyen, attended May 2025: Never been to a cooking class before so definitely was a different experience and fun. For our Best Friend's 50th we decided to do something different since she didn’t want a big party just a close intimate dinner. So what better way learning how to cook our favourite dish Singapore Chilli Crab and have it for dinner. Upon arrival you get served sparkling wine and prawn crackers to start the night then sit down and get a demonstration to prepare and cook. After the demonstration you get lead into you kitchen/cooking station in a group of 4people to cook your dinner. 1x mud crab between 2 people, so theres 2x crabs per cooking station. Preparing and cooking your dinner and just have fun! Loved our teacher Grace's interactive demonstration, she made it fun and gave us tips on how to pick a good mud crab, shared her own cooking experience tips and overall just a very enjoyable experience.
  • 5/5 from Cici Zheng, attended Mar 2025: Loved it. The crab and ingredients were fresh. Teacher and tutors were helpful. Learned how to pick and dispatch a mud crab. Enjoyed the cooking and eating process. Will make this dish at home for family and friends. Definitely recommend this class.
  • 5/5 from Maxine Bassil, attended Mar 2025: The class was great! The teacher made it very enjoyable and she was very clear to show the full process of preparing the crab. This was a birthday gift for my son and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
  • 5/5 from Ekanayake Mudiyanselage Srimathie D Ekanayake, attended Mar 2025: An Incredible and Fun-filled Experience! This Singapore Crab Curry class was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibrant. The teachers were incredibly fun, keeping the whole class engaged with laughter and tons of valuable information. Their energy was infectious, and they made the entire learning experience so enjoyable. The venue was spotless, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. The teachers explained everything clearly, breaking down each step in the cooking process so we could easily understand and replicate it. They were always available to answer questions and provided great tips throughout the class. I loved every minute of it, and the food we created was absolutely delicious! The class was not only a great way to learn how to make an authentic Singapore crab curry, but it also allowed me to connect with fellow food enthusiasts. I left feeling inspired and equipped with the skills to recreate the dish at home. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking to learn and have a great time while doing it!
  • 3/5 from Holly Dean, attended Feb 2025: The class was a lot of fun and Jen and Grace were great teachers! However, I don’t think you can advertise “seafood canapés” as being included if you will only be offering prawn chips. These aren’t a seafood canapé… It’s probably also worth advertising that this class is done in groups of 4, so couples are aware of that before booking. With there only being a few cooking steps, when this is split between 4 people there really isn’t much for each person to do. Overall it was a good experience. But for $195pp, I think there’s a few improvements that can be made for it to be worth this price.
  • 5/5 from Cathy Ramley, attended Nov 2024: Michelle did an amazing job! The class was very well organized. The hands on experience was also amazing! My husband and I had a great time cooking. The food was delicious! I would be definitely making this at home. Highly recommend!
  • 5/5 from Christopher Le, attended Sep 2024: very informative. We learnt everything from scratch. We had very skilled chefs training us. Definitely would come back for a different recipe taught by them. Note don't forget to bring a pen or phone camera to record some of their extra tips.
  • 5/5 from Patrick, attended Jun 2024: This was purchased for me as a birthday gift. Our teacher was helpful and very engaging. The materials provided were great and the teacher definitely made an otherwise seemingly challenging dish easy to tackle!
  • 5/5 from Jennifer Tran, attended Jun 2024: Good for a birthday or anniversary present. Teachers were super friendly and demonstrated it for us before we Cooked ourselves. Cooked in groups of 4 and became good friends with the people around us! All materials required were provided and didn’t have to wash the dishes! Learnt how to break down a crab which was super cool. Slightly over value for money as you only get one crab between two people but they do give you rice and Mantao buns to fill you up. Would highly recommend!
  • 4/5 from Dea Lalwani, attended Jun 2024: The class was great, atmosphere was really nice. We cooked with another couple and shared the meal together. We shared 1 crab between 2 people.
  • 5/5 from Rhordon Balthazaar, attended Apr 2024: Had an absolutely wonderful evening learning a dish that has been an old favourite for many years. The delivery of the class was perfect utilising a modern amphitheater & screen work. The support staff were helpful & we thoroughly enjoyed sharing the meal with new friends. Wonderful to be served wine to go with the meal. Highly recommended experience.
  • 5/5 from Angela Whatley, attended Apr 2024: Our group were interested on how to cook Singapore chilli crab. Our teacher was great, she explained the process well. • 5/5 from Gayathiri Pathmanathan, attended Dec 2023: This Chilli Crab cooking class surpassed my expectations! I can hardly believe that I was able to learn so much in just three hours! Our presenter Vinnie was engaging, humorous, and knowledgeable. The live demonstration was an excellent way to demystify the complexities involved in cooking what otherwise would have been a truly daunting dish for home cooks. The hands-on workshop was brilliant. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet up with fellow foodies and cooking enthusiasts. In summary, this was a fabulous and instructive class. I look forward to trying out my skills at home, perhaps for Chinese New Year celebrations in 2024!
