  • 5/5 from Eamon Ryan, attended Aug 2026: This class was very enjoyable. I am now quite confident to have a go at making our own sausages. Mark was an excellent class facilitator.
  • 5/5 from Tia Kermarec, attended Aug 2026: Another great class by Mark and The Cooking Professionals, great detail about the technical details on making sausages, as well as where to buy the stuff. 100% will be doing more classes
  • 4/5 from Ngaire Koch, attended Aug 2026: Booking with my ClassBento voucher was simple and the instructions returned by The Cooking Professor were concise. Our chef, Mark, was friendly and helpful and went out of his way to include everyone. We were split into 3 groups and each group got hands on to make chipolatas, chorizo and boervoers. We all got the chance to use the sausage machine and shared all the different sausages made. Chef had already partially prepared sides of buns, onions, mash and gravy and he guided us through completion and presentation for each sausage type. There was plenty of food! For me, the sausages all tasted very similar, albeit very tasty. Fun evening with a bit of education and yummy meal.

Very clean and organised kitchen, he made sure every person got a chance to make a sausage from start to finish, and making the sides for each dish was an added bonus. Such a fun night, definitely will be booking another class!

  • 1/5 from Brooke Woodley, attended Jul 2025: This “class” was horrendous! To split 18 people between 3 bowls of mince and expect everyone to call it a cooking experience is a joke. One sausage maker between 18 people. Everything was pre chopped, all side ingredients already cooked, can honestly say the only task I completed was pushing a handful of mince through a sausage maker while, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE AND VALUE FOR MONEY IS GRIM GRIM!

I had tried to make one lot of sausages at home and couldn't get it quite right, this was a perfect opportunity. Three different types were made and we all had hands on to make them, cook them, and eat them after. Our instructor Mark was very pleasant and eager to teach us.

  • 4/5 from Mandy Stanley, attended Mar 2025: A great class which produced 3 tasty sausages and equipped you with the information and skills to do at home. Only draw back was being in group 3 which meant we missed out on some of the information about cooking whilst we made our sausage but we had the benefit of watching the other groups. Thanks to Chef Mark.
