  • 5/5 from Daniel Payson, attended Oct 2026: I went and tried the beginners class! It was so much fun! The teacher was great and helped us with setting up and learning the fundamentals of this fantastic craft. If you have always wanted to try this then go for it!
  • 5/5 from Lidia Saez-Macdonald, attended Oct 2026: Great class! Teacher explain herself in a very clear and nice way. It as a lot of fun and we were able to make 3 pieces of pottery each. Would highly recommend this class!

  • 5/5 from Evangeline Jarman, attended Oct 2026: Wonderful class with Jani! She was so helpful and even after the hundredth time we had butchered our little bowls, she was there to help us save it (or throw it on the flop table). Turns pottery on the wheel is both very soothing and very, very hard. Would love to go back for the longer courses to be honest; 2 hours is a wonderful trial and we had a lot of fun as a group but if you're ambitious about making different, functional shapes, you'll need more time to get the hang of it. Good news is: this is definitely the best place to do that!

  • 5/5 from Jeffrey Allen Froster, attended Apr 2026: The teacher was good I did spinning pottery I liked when you put your hands around the clay hugging it tightly it was fun Overall we had a good experience
  • 4/5 from Jaime Fazackerley, attended Apr 2026: Annabelle was very polite and positive, and overall I enjoyed the experience. There were quite a few steps and techniques to remember, and since there were around 10 people split between two stations, the teacher wasn’t always on hand to help or guide us when needed. This meant I often found myself trying to figure things out on my own until she was free, and by that point some of my pieces were already too far gone. She did help when she could and was very attentive when she was with you, but she seemed quite stretched. I also wish we had been given clearer guidance on how much water to use and how long to spend on each piece. A lot of us seemed to be using too little throughout, and spending too long working the clay, likely because of the emphasis on avoiding too much water making the clay soggy. I’d be interested in doing a course, but my main concern is whether there would be enough one-on-one time with the teacher.
