  • 4/5 from Raelene King, attended Dec 2025: We enjoyed the class, Kym was very good with her knowledge of sushi making, would have liked to have had more detail on the rice making, seemed a bit rushed. Plus there was an awful lot of food, too much for one person.
  • 5/5 from Yvonne de Mello, attended Nov 2025: Kym gave good clear easy-to-follow instructions. Making sushi is far easier than I thought it would be! Well worth what it cost.
  • 5/5 from Natalie Travis, attended Sep 2025: I had a really fun time even though I attended solo. Everyone was keen to make sushi, the teacher was friendly and easy to understand. • 5/5 from Sarah La Galia, attended Sep 2024: My husband bought me a sushi making lesson for Mother’s Day so we decided to go the other night. It was so much fun from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. The class was nice and intimate there were only two other couples and a family of three which was nice. The teacher Kim was incredible. She gave us lots of information about the background of making the sushi. The traditions associated with cooking the sushi as well as tips and tricks for cooking sushi. She was well experienced having worked in France and Japan, as a chef. Everything was so organised from utensils to ingredients. We were allowed to ask as many questions as he wanted, collect extra ingredients as well as bring our own drinks which makes for a little bit more fun. After making the sushi, we sat down with a glass of wine and we ate it. There was so much food we had to even take a doggy bag home. It was the most enjoyable experience which we’ve been telling all of our friends about and we will definitely have another go at a class or even just a night out, which is what the company provides. Thank you for an awesome experience.

  • 5/5 from Kristen Chiera, attended Apr 2024: Loved learning from Kim and Dan all the tips to making a variety of sushi including my husband’s favourite tamagoyaki, my favourite uramaki and more. I sat next to a lovely lady and we helped each other and had fun too!
  • 5/5 from Emma Oosthuizen, attended Apr 2024: My husband and I went for a date night, him being a huge sushi lover. The teacher chef was great - showed everything step by step and explained exactly what's done and why it's done. The venue was pretty good, with air-conditioning and good working space for each of us. I like how we learned how to make 5 different types of sushi and not only the rolls. I'm so happy I know how to make an inside-out roll now. We'd love to have the option of using salmon next time.
  • 4/5 from Taylah Wilson, attended Apr 2024: Both of the chefs where fantastic, I like making the inside out sushi rolls that’s was good
  • 4/5 from Phil Angel, attended Apr 2024: The class was a gift. I definitely picked up lots of information and tips on cutting veg and learning how to put the rolls together. Our chefs for the evening were terrific, helpful, and engaging. They did a fabulous job keeping us busy making the different types of sushi rolls. I’ve forgotten all the names of the different types, so look forward to getting the info and recipes by email. Thanks very much for a lovely evening. Marie Thornton
  • 5/5 from Chloe Willis, attended Feb 2024: My brother bought the class for my mum and I as a gift. Our teacher Dan was super friendly and very knowledgeable. • 5/5 from Cliff Roberts, attended Jul 2023: My Dad and I had a great time! There were more than enough ingredients supplied. Our instructor was lovely and provided a lot of great personal tips and tricks for making sushi. And the sushi was great, Thank you! Really fun and we both want to return for another class.
  • 3/5 from Lydia O'Reilly, attended Jul 2023: I was disappointed with this class. I complained a few times about not being able to see the chef slicing the vegetables, but I was ignored. It would've been simple for things to be moved from the chef's bench so I could see what the chef was doing. I appreciated having the apprentice chef there to help me. There were prawns and crab sticks on the tray to use, but the chef only used chicken in the recipes she demonstrated. We were not asked to slice the crab sticks. I didn't slice the prawns because I didn't see how to do it. I waited for the recipes to come that would use prawns and crab stick, but it didn't happen. This is despite the fact that the California Roll uses crab, avocado and cucumber (which I discovered when I came home and researched it on the Internet). We sliced a lot of vegetables that we didn't get to use. I expected to be cooking for the 2 hours advertised. I'm a pensioner and for me it wasn't good value for money.
  • 5/5 from Dianne O'Halloran, attended Feb 2023: Chef was great at explaining how to cook the rice as well as demonstrating how to assemble everything.
