In this engaging woodworking class, you will have the opportunity to into the art of creating your very own unique cheeseboard or chopping board from scratch. Discover the satisfaction of crafting something both beautiful and functional with your own hands in this hands-on workshop.
Perfect for beginners, your experienced teacher will guide you through each step of the process, making it easy for any first-timers to grasp. You will learn how to use essential hand tools and master woodworking techniques to bring your cheese or chopping board to life.
By the end of the session, you will walk away with a stunning cheeseboard or chopping board that you can proudly display in your home or gift to someone special.
This workshop has two locations. Please choose venue depending upon group size:
  • This workshop is available only at Millgum Farm for up to four participants.
  • This workshop is available only at Helena River Steiner School for more than five participants.

I founded Yol Creative in 2024 to provide art and woodwork workshops, aiming to empower individuals to explore their creative potential and foster a sense of community.
With a solid foundation in creativity cultivated at a Rudolph Steiner School in Switzerland and a double major in Fine Art from the University of Western Australia, I teach woodwork, sculpture, and art at three Steiner Schools.
At West Coast, Silvertree, and Helena River Steiner Schools, I have developed engaging woodwork programs, including a homeschooling initiative at Helena River Steiner School.
Workshops are held at Millgum Farm in the Swan Valley or at Helena River Steiner School depending on the number of participants.
