- 5/5 from Stephanie Preston, attended Jul 2026: Kerry is an amazing teacher, makes you feel very welcome and demonstrates everything clearly. It was easy to follow her instructions to create your own masterpiece ️
- 5/5 from Christine Beasley, attended Apr 2026: I've done a few of Kerry's classes now and have really enjoyed them. I'm one of those who have always said "I'm not creative" however I have been amazed and what can be done when you have someone guiding you every step of the way, while letting your individuality shine through. Kerry is patient & kind and always there with an encouraging word or little tip just when you need it!
- 5/5 from Sue Ellul, attended Mar 2026: Hi. Attended your class Saturday 14th. Rita Mary and Sue. Loved our time there. Thank you. You wanted feedback for the larger class. Maybe Have tables in rolls towards teacher so you could see more clearly. Thank you again for great arvo. Sue
- 5/5 from Deborah Hoppo, attended Mar 2026: I did this because I Love Blue Wrens, Kerry is a lovely person and a great teacher, I am a beginner so I learnt that I’m not that hopeless at creating something and it’s lovely to have something that I did, I wanted to challenge myself, very productive and good fun class, could not fault
- 4/5 from Angela Nicklin, attended Mar 2026: The teacher and the class were great. We had a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend it to others. There is a good possibility that we would come back again too. Only a couple of small suggestions would be a way we could see a little better as people were in our way a bit and it was hard to get up and move around.
Your teacher
Welcome to Creative Beginnings, a haven of artistic exploration nestled in breathtaking McLaren Vale.Kerry Angela is your devoted artist and teacher. Her mission is to ignite your passion for creativity, intertwining it with wellness in inspiring art workshops.A self-taught artist with over 40 years of experience, she pours her heart and soul into each session, crafted with beginners in mind. Her workshops embrace a diverse range of art mediums and techniques as she loves them all equally. From the magical world of resin art, a fun sip and paint acrylic class within the Magpie Springs Winery, or a sip and create gathering at her local community club in McLaren Flat, where they alternate mediums monthly, it's a wonderful opportunity to have a go at playing with alcohol inks, acrylics, oils, or watercolours. At each session, you're guided step-by-step with visual inspiration and live demonstrations to create unique art pieces that will fill you with pride. At Creative Beginnings, we firmly believe in the power of arts for mental and emotional well-being. Kerry previously worked in Community Aged Care as a Home Care Coordinator. It was here that she started teaching art to small groups of people aged over 65. Witnessing the profound impact art had on her clients, she was inspired to extend her art classes to the broader community to promote well-being through art.Regardless of your skill level or ability, her nurturing environment offers a warm sense of community, fun, and belonging as you create and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. For an unforgettable experience, we offer private sessions too. Whether it's a delightful sip and paint party, birthday celebration, a memorable hen's event, a workplace well-being program, or NDIS support, we bring the magic of Creative Beginnings to your own venue.
