Kerry Mart is your devoted artist and teacher, her mission is to ignite your passion for creativity, intertwining it with wellness in inspiring art workshops.
A self taught artist with over 40 years of experience, she pours her heart and soul into each session, crafted with beginners in mind.
Her workshops embrace a diverse range of art mediums and techniques as she loves them all equally. From the magical world of resin art, a fun sip and paint acrylic class within the Magpie Springs Winery or a sip and create gathering at her local community club in McLaren Flat, where they alternate mediums fortnightly, a wonderful opportunity to have a go playing with alcohol inks, acrylics, oils and watercolours.
At each session you're guided step-by-step with visual inspiration, and live demonstrations, to create unique art pieces that will fill you with pride.
At Creative Beginnings, we firmly believe in the power of arts for mental and emotional well-being. Kerry previously worked in Community Aged Care as a Home Care Coordinator, it was here that she started teaching art to small groups of over 65's, witnessing the profound impact art had on her clients she was inspired to extend her art classes to the broader community to promote wellbeing through art.
Regardless of your skill level or ability, her nurturing environment offers a warm sense of community and belonging as you create and connect with fellow art enthusiasts.
For an unforgettable experience, we offer private sessions too. Whether it's a delightful sip and paint party, a memorable hens night, a workplace wellbeing program, or NDIS support, we bring the magic of Creative Beginnings to your own venue.

The Resin Class for Beginners was so much fun. Kerry was a great teacher and managed to bring the artist out in each of us! Kerry supplied all materials and had a great range of items to choose from and prices were extremely reasonable to upgrade from the cheese board and bowl. I did a Lazy Susan and it was only an additional $10. The studio was well set out and the time flew with lots of laughs along the way. It was so much fun and I would encourage participation. I walked away with a beautiful piece of art I didn’t know I was capable of! Kerry also gave us a glass to use our leftover resin on which came out so well and was a lovely touch. Thanks Kerry, you’re amazing!

Resin Art was a fun experience. I asked a friend along and we attended together. Everything you needed was supplied and Kerri was very helpful and patient with all our questions. She demonstrated the procedures as we went along in an easy clear manner. Her studio was set up with enough room to get creative. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and was worth the money for what was supplied. I recommend this class.
