What you'll do
Step into the world of natural beauty and craft your very own lipstick – a perfect gift for Mum or a treat for yourself this Mother’s Day! In this workshop, we’ll dive deep into the realm of lipstick formulation, introducing you to the wondrous properties of cocoa butter, a luxurious ingredient frequently used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Our hands-on session begins with understanding the foundational element – cocoa butter. The velvety texture and nourishing properties of this natural ingredient set the stage for creating a range of vibrant lip colours.
After familiarising ourselves with the basics, we’ll transition into the art and science of lipstick formulation. From selecting the right pigments to understanding the synergy of ingredients, you’ll be guided every step of the way. By the end of the session, you’ll have crafted five lipstick tubes in shades of your choice, perfect for gifting (or keeping).

Work-Shop will be a space for everyone, with a rotating schedule of art shows, information nights on local issues and a whole range of events and community initiatives.
