Pasterfield Community Centre has three rooms available for hire for community activities, conferences, workshops, business meetings, exhibitions, fundraisers and more.
The Main Hall is the perfect setting for any function, currently accommodating up to 100 people. It adjoins the commercial kitchen and also has an audio system and data projector available for use. The Main Hall opens on to the terrace overlooking the sporting oval.
Meeting Room 1 is a comfortably sized, carpeted room which is adjacent to the kitchenette and opens onto the terrace. A data projector is available for hire for an additional fee. This room currently accommodates 28 people and is suited to meetings, training groups, or smaller casual events.
Meeting Room 2 is the same size and also adjacent to the kitchenette and opening onto the terrace. The room currently accommodates 28 people.
For larger meetings or workshops Meetings Room 1 & 2 can be combined by packing away the moveable wall. The combined meeting rooms currently accommodate up to 56 people and a data projector is available for hire for an additional fee.
The Canopy is a non-profit, charitable organisation, located within the Western Growth Corridor or Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, which provides community facilities management, community development and family support services.
The Canopy manages 8 community facilities within this area on behalf of Lake Macquarie City Council and the City of Newcastle.
