What you'll do

Kids Clay Play is a fun hands-on class where you will learn the basics of creating with clay and have fun getting your hands dirty.

Children will have the opportunity to learn about and play with clay and be introduced and guided in a variety of techniques to create several items, either functional or decorative or both! Everyone will be guided in the techniques required to create their masterpieces in a relaxed and inclusive environment.

At the end of your class, their kids' creations will be glazed and fired for them, ready to collect a few weeks after the class.

This class is perfect if you're searching for new things for your child to do after school. It is also a one-off workshop, for your child to give it a try and see if they like it. If they love it they can join our term-long course with Deep Blue Ceramics!

This class is taught by our teacher Nurdan, a wonderfully talented craftswoman, a mum and a great teacher who loves to share the joy clay can bring.

Please note:

You will need to collect your fired pieces from our studio approximately four weeks after your workshop.
Public dates for this class require at least 5 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case, we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

What you'll get

An apron to wear throughout.
All the materials, glazes, and tools needed to create several clay items.
Your fired pieces ready to collect three to four weeks after your class. Please follow us on social media to be advised about pick-up times and dates!
