FAQ

What happens if I prick myself with needle?
I will provide leather finger protectors and explain how to safely use the needles. All needles are brand new. I provide antiseptic spray but do have a duty of care to tell you to consider if your tenus booster is up to date.
I'm sensitive to soap, can I still participate in the wet felting?
You are welcome to bring your own soap to the workshop instead of using the soap that I will provide. I provide pure castile olive oil soap.
What happens if I don't finish my garland?
You can take your materials and tools with you, to finish in your own time and in the comfort of your home.

I've always been drawn to the arts and the act of creating—it's been a constant thread throughout my life. Whether through painting, writing, design, or experimenting with new mediums, the creative process has always offered me a sense of purpose and joy. There's something deeply satisfying about learning a new skill, watching it take shape through practice, and seeing an idea come to life through my own hands. For me, creating isn’t just about the final product—it’s about the journey, the discovery, and the fulfillment that comes from turning imagination into something real.
As a Primary School teacher, I love watching my students learn and grow. It is important to me that I create a friendly, calm and welcoming environment so that all learners can achieve and enjoy the process of creating, no matter where they are on their learning journey, in a nurturing environment.
Working with wool, such wet and needle felting, ties us to history and the age old craft of creating with natural fibres. Whether it is a piece of art work, functional object or a piece to wear, working with wool is a beautiful medium that provides a calming and mindful process that allows our mind to wander while we stay focused on the creative experience.
