  • 4/5 from Michelle Lau, attended Sep 2026: I bought this for a friends birthday to do together. It’s not as easy as you think. There’s a lot of planning involved prior and then you need to manually stick your flowers and plants individually onto the lamp followed by an additional layer on top. I enjoyed choosing the flowers even though I’m indecisive. I felt that if you had another party that was late you had to wait for them to arrive so you could get further details. I would also say something to be mindful of is the extra package you can purchase doesn’t come with instructions (the pressed flower board) so if you don’t quite catch the instructions on the day you just have to follow up texting the teacher.
  • 5/5 from Janene, attended Aug 2026: For my bday I attended a flower lamp making session that was given to me by my daughter, Wide variey of flowers and leaves to choose from. We were thinking the finished product looked pretty average, but Rashmi's husband assisted us to fit the lampshade to the base, we turned on the lamp and it looked MAGNIFICENT!!! Just as Rashmi told us it would. So happy with the end result. Thank you Rashmi for the great workshop.

It was such a peaceful class, delicious coffee/tea, and nicest company with everyone attending as well. We aren’t really a artsy people but her guidance was very clear and easy to follow. Lamps are looking so beautiful and we love it so so so much!! Considering the experience and lamps, what we paid was so worth it. 100% recommended!!!!
  • 3/5 from Sonja Arthur, attended Mar 2026: I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere but would have loved a bit more introduction to the class, the craft and the other participants.

Rashmi is an architect turned crafter and small business owner with a vibrant cafe in the Docklands. She is someone who loves art and learning something new every day. Her journey to becoming an artist started with one art project at a time. She started making Kokedama’s and polymer clay earrings for a bit of fun. She loved it so much that she gifted a lot to her friends and which birthed her enthusiasm for handmade things. Soon they started making them together, and they all loved them so much that we decided to share the art with more people.
Creating something handmade is a fun process with lots of laughter and good coffee. You make new friends who love plants and art as much as you do.
