Meryl’s team expertly managed thirteen 11 year olds so they all finished beautiful mosaics and had time for party food and cake. They had a great time and it was extremely well organised, we just turned up with a cake. Thank you!

They all walked away with a sense of accomplishment taking home their beautiful piece. Meryl and her team were very accomodating and made it a very relaxed and joyous event. Everything was provided and the party planner was very kind and patient with teaching and explaining everything. Merryl also introduced herself and helped a couple of the girls who were struggling to finish. The best party ever!

The event was held at the back of the venue, which, while slightly challenging to locate, led to a beautifully arranged and impeccably clean room. Guests were even given the opportunity to select their preferred music to enhance the ambiance. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the activity of cutting tiles, and the 1.5 hours seemed to fly by. I must extend my gratitude to Instructor GG, who was exceptionally helpful and amicable. Her instructions were clear, concise, and easy to follow, making the activity enjoyable for everyone. We were all thrilled with our finished mosaics and had a fantastic time. This party will undoubtedly be remembered as a truly special occasion. Thank you to Merryl and the team for making this event so memorable!

The teachers were extremely helpful and it all ran very smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and cleanup all sorted! The most stress free party we have ever had! Highly recommend!

We brought our own food/catering and it was a bit rushed to eat at the end but we were not pressured in anyway to exit, we were just mindful of the timing and maybe we didnt need as much food as we had brought along. We thought my daughter may have had different character choices for the mosaics but there was enough variety for her to select for her friends to make. We wernt sure if all girls would manage to complete their pieces in the timeframe however our host was lovely, she kept all the girls on track whilst the girls were still enjoying themselves it was very relaxing for the girls and the hosts were great at guiding kids and helping them especially at grouting time. Merryl is lovely and had a class downstairs at the same time and checked in on us. The mosaics came up really well and will be treasured pieces the kids will hold onto and remember the fun party they attended with my daughter. Thankyou so much!

There were 19 kids aged 5 -10 and they sat there quietly doing their mosaics and were so proud of their final pieces of art. Very well organised and went smoothly. They cleaned up efficiently. Everyone had fun and loved it!

ClassBento's communication was a little variable though from rapid to somewhat delay although everything worked out in the end. The venue was spacious for the work area, accommodating a large number of party guests. There was a wide variety of choices for our guests to work on their pieces with a huge range of colored tiles which was great. Take time to admire the various, many art pieces that Merryl has on the wall and dotted around her studio. It will inspire you! Merryl explained the process of starting and the sequence of completing the mosaic very well with tips provided at the beginning. She had 3 younger helpers as we were a large group. I would suggest that if you have a larger party (>20) with guests around 8 years to 9 years old, it will be sensible to have 3-4 parents depending also on the party guests' needs, to stay back to help out through the session. A few guests were slow and needed significant help in the second half of the session from the helpers and the parents. However, Merryl did indicate that if it were the case, while the kids are having their party food, she and her helpers would ensure that they would finish the pieces for the kids to enable them to take them home at the end of the party (there will be no disappointment)! The finished pieces for the guests were all beautiful and there were very many happy and proud faces. And that alone will warm your heart! (I do have to comment that with both my kids' mosaic pieces, one tile fell out shortly after completion, but fortunately, for my son, it was retrieved by my son from the floor and the helper assisted him to restore it which was appreciated. Unfortunately, my daughter's (birthday girl) tile (1) fell out somewhere along the way after completion and we only noticed it when we arrived home that night. So, we do have a tile missing currently on what is otherwise an awesome mosaic piece). Due to the size of the party, we had our party food (self catered by choice) on the main worktable (Merryl's suggestion), keeping our food upstairs on a smaller space table where party food would normally be consumed. Whilst it meant navigating the stairs multiple times, it did not dampen the mood. Good exercise though if you are fit enough, but it would be an issue if you are struggling to do stairs, although I am sure Merryl would have tried her best to work out a solution for you! For cleaning the worktable to make space for the party food, fortunately, I had a couple of parents help me to do so as the helpers had their hands full as well, and a couple more parents helping me to bring the food from upstairs and down the stairs. At the conclusion of the party, we cleaned up as Merryl and her helpers made preparations to set up for their next session the next day. The feedback from all my guests including the helper parents have been very positive and some of the parents have indicated that they would love to do a class themselves as they had a lot of fun helping! The logistics of accommodating a big group is always challenging but thank you Merryl for trying your best and for sharing your beautiful craft and artistry with the community, and for being so accommodating.

It was great. 2 instructors gave a brief explanation to kids and after that they checked individual's progress and helped kids where needed. Most of the guests have been done before at other birthday parties or holiday prpgrams at this studio. It was my daughter's 3rd time to do and she was quite satisfied with her work this time because she got better. I think it was the same for her guests too. Kids can chose from various patterns, so they can do different pattern every single time. I've never done this before myself so I enjoyed bits and pieces by helping kids. We did food/drinks ourselves but it wasn't much hard as it'll be just 30 mins after 2 hours of craft. My mother in law came to help and she also wanted do a day course next time. It was a great party.

Even some parents joined the craft also feel satisfying. Our party went over time but teachers were very accommodating. The place is not big and not fancy, is a workshop, but is the craft, the time together making something that they are enjoying.
