Beginners Kokedama and Yoga Workshop

A total relaxation package with yoga and plants.

3 hours Class size 1 to 15 guests       $150

Looking to learn something new and creative in a fun yoga class? In this workshop, you will not only discover the basics of Hatha yoga with Nidhi but also get hands-on experience creating your very own Kokedama plant friend with Rashmi. Immerse yourself in a rejuvenating yoga experience and embrace your green thumb as you make and care for your tiny moss ball.
  • The first half of the workshop will focus on Hatha yoga with Nidhi, where you will learn stretching techniques and breathwork to improve your overall health.
  • In the second half, under Rashmi's guidance, you will learn the step-by-step process of making a Kokedama ball, including soil composition, plant selection, and maintenance tips.
  • The Kokedama ball you create will not only serve as a beautiful and versatile home decor but also as an air purifier, enhancing the air quality in your living space.
The word 'Hatha' symbolises the balance of opposites in the body and mind, allowing you to stay longer in poses and align with conscious breathing. It is a transformative activity that can help improve flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. By the end of the workshop, you will have your own unique Kokedama plant friend to take home.
Please note: Before the yoga class, a declaration form regarding your health will need to be signed. The yoga session will primarily take place in an outdoor park, but will be moved to an enclosed space in case of inclement weather.

Rashmi is an architect turned small business owner and has a vibrant cafe in the Docklands. She is someone who loves art and learning something new every day. Her journey to becoming an artist started with one art project at a time. She started making Kokedamas and polymer clay earrings for a bit of fun. She loved it so much that she gifted a lot to her friends. They started making them together, and they all loved them so much that we decided to share them with more people.
It's a fun process with lots of laughter and good coffee. You make new friends who love plants and art as much as you do.
