The team was incredibly flexible and responsive throughout the booking process, and even though we ended up arriving quite late to the workshop, they were so understanding and accommodating. Our teacher was fantastic -- really friendly, patient and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions about how to care for our plants and explained what each of the different elements was for, which made it really easy to follow along. The atmosphere was very chill and fun, which made it a perfect activity for our group. We honestly had a lot more fun than we expected and loved getting to make our own terrariums. Would definitely recommend this workshop for a group activity or special occasion!

On the day, Jasmine and her assistant were lovely and created a relaxed atmosphere. We loved that the session wasn’t rushed, so we could chat and enjoy ourselves. They also made an effort to make the space feel nice with flowers, matching tablecloths and aprons, which we appreciated. However, the lead-up was quite stressful. Communication was slow and inconsistent, and at times it felt like details of our booking had been forgotten. We were also waiting a long time for confirmation on food options, which added to the uncertainty. A big reason we chose this experience was the original venue, Roxy’s Event Space, which looked beautiful and perfect for a hens party. Unfortunately, just three days before, we were told it had changed to Golden Gate Hotel. While nearby, it had a completely different atmosphere, which was disappointing. The food options also differed, and again we had to follow this up ourselves. Overall, the communication and organisation felt unprofessional and created a lot of uncertainty and stress in the lead-up. That said, we do appreciate that a refund was provided for one guest who couldn’t attend. A fun activity on the day, but the organisation and communication could definitely be improved.

The atmosphere and venue at ARTea was great, staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful from the time of booking to the actual event. Would highly recommend it as a venue for a party or just fun activity with friends.

The venue was also nicely decorated with areas for photo ops. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun Hens activity!

I'd recommend Artea to improve pon this aspect and to increase the duration of the class to 3 hours. Other than that our group was very pleased!

There was a bit of a mix up around what class we was doing and how many where attending but they where quick to get this sorted and offered us some bubbles which was a nice touch.
