Seed to Symbol: Chakra Meditation & Creative Printmaking Workshop
This immersive workshop begins with a guided seed chakra meditation, inviting you to ground, awaken, and listen inwardly.
From this embodied starting point, we move into a gentle period of reflection and journaling, allowing insights, sensations, and intentions to surface.
You will then be guided to select a particular chakra and its associated colour—an area of focus that feels especially alive or in need of attention in your life right now.
Using pattern-making and jelly printing processes, you’ll explore this chakra through intuitive mark-making, layering, and colour play.
The creative process is not about producing a “perfect” print, but about translating inner awareness into a tangible visual reminder—something you can return to as a symbol of focus, balance, or growth.
No prior meditation or printmaking experience is needed. This workshop is suitable for anyone curious about the intersection of mindfulness, creativity, and self-inquiry.

Creating Space is about making time for self-care and personal growth. Through a range of workshops, I guide participants in exploring artmaking, intention setting, life design, and meditation.
With over 24 years of experience as a secondary educator, my focus has been on fostering creativity, wellbeing, and pathways planning. As an artist, I specialize in mixed media, embracing the possibilities of printmaking, photography, and ceramics.
My artistic journey includes a Visual Arts degree from Newcastle University and a Graduate Diploma of Art & Design at Launceston TAFE. I am a lifelong learner, continuously exploring new techniques and creative approaches.
In addition, my postgraduate qualification in Career Development and Life Design fuels my passion for helping others navigate their own paths. By integrating art, education, and self-discovery, I aim to inspire and empower individuals in creating their best lives.
