  • 5/5 from Samantha Barker, attended Jun 2023: Elizabeth was a fun and encouraging teacher. It can be quite daunting to look at the finished product before you start and have no idea how you will get there. The step by step instructions and personal attention made the experience an absolute joy. With easy onsite parking and a great work space with everything you need supplied, I can't wait to pick another class to enjoy with friends.
  • 4/5 from Amy Wang, attended Jun 2023: I love how the teacher supplied every primary colour, it provided freedom of choice unlike other paint studios, the teacher was also very studeous, she had plenty of insight going into the painting, and talked about the symbolic gestures and reasons why the painting is why it is. I accidentally got paint on my clothes and the teacher was nice enough to offer advice on how to remove it. One thing i wish could be improved on is the spaces between tables could be larger, and that we have containers to place our belongings, i accidentally kept bumping into people and stepping on their things.
  • 5/5 from Georgina Williams, attended May 2023: We had a great experience and the art teacher was lovely! Would definetly go back
  • 5/5 from Zaireen Shah, attended May 2023: Good experience and a fun time. Elizabeth was very patient and kind and good at explaining.
  • 4/5 from Marion Lynch, attended May 2023: An interesting experience and I ended up with a piece that I am happy with. The good thing was that there was not a lot of comparisons or people bemoaning how bad their pieces were everyone was doing their own thing quite happily. So don't let the fact that you don't think you are "artistic" stop you!
  • 4/5 from Dominique Zam, attended May 2023: The painting itself was great and so was the ambience and the people that came to the class. However it felt like the teacher was trying to rush us and wasn’t really getting in on any of the jokes or being happy. It seemed like she was sick of doing the same painting over and over and both me and my friend noticed it
  • 4/5 from Andrew McGrail, attended May 2023: Teacher did explain the steps but without engaging with us, wandering around and encouraging. Many backgrounds were too dark/wet because the instruction to add black and blend was not well described. The room needed a third table. Too crowded/cramped. No room for your drink, let alone any food, and because we waited for latecomers due to railway removal works, no time to eat or drink anyway. Was still fun and would do again.
  • 3/5 from Conor Fox, attended May 2023: The class was well set up with easels, canvas, paint etc. it was nice not having to wash up at end.
  • 3/5 from Cecilie Kjaer, attended May 2023: It would have been nice with information on the big roadwork that was right beside the class. We made it to class half an hour late because no information had been given. Surely it is not your fault, but it would be nice with a heads up. The class was in a big room, where certainly 1 more table could have been set up, so you had more space. This felt very cramped and there wasnt really any space to place your wine or snacks. The 2 hours was not a long time, it was a bit stressful. It was an OK experience, but I wouldnt recommend other people going to the same class.
  • 4/5 from Mengsha Chen, attended Apr 2023: Was great night, teacher gave step by step instructions for a very complicated painting. Only downside is that we ran out of time (starry night) so I wasn't able to finish the painting
  • 4/5 from Natasha Chan, attended Mar 2023: Very comprehensive class that went well and was immersive. Overall a great experience and would do again
