Have you always wanted to give wheel throwing a go but didn’t know where to start? Then this is the class for you!
During this one-off 2.5-hour class, our experienced teacher will guide you through the foundations of throwing pottery on the wheel. You can expect to create 2-6 pieces, which are professionally finished, glazed and fired by our staff. We contact you 4-6 weeks later to collect your food-safe, dishwasher-safe, oven- and microwave-safe items!
Clay is pre-prepared and provided, so you can get straight into throwing on the wheel.
What you will learn:
  • How to centre your clay on the wheel
  • How to form cylinders
  • How to create simple bowl forms
