A Bigger, Better Creative Candle Experience
We’re excited to introduce an upgraded candle-making experience.
To make the workshop even more creative and inspiring, we’ve expanded what’s included. Our sessions now feature larger candle vessels, more artistic materials, and even more ways to design something truly unique. Because of this expanded experience, our workshop price has increased slightly — but what you receive is far bigger, more exciting, and incredible value for money.
This workshop is all about creative candles — imaginative designs that you build yourself using the wide range of materials available in the studio.
Your experience includes access to:
  • A larger premium candle vessel for bigger creations
  • A wide range of fragrances and colours
  • Jelly wax, mica powders, glitter, and candle paints
  • Dessert-style candle materials including whipped icing wax, fruit pieces and cookie toppings
  • Decorative embeds and creative extras
  • Over 100 moulds including animals, frogs, fish, flowers, bodies, food shapes and more
There are no set designs — you are free to create whatever your imagination inspires using the materials in the workshop. Every candle made is completely unique.

The booking system was ridiculous though and we had to actually go in to get it sorted but she was more than happy to help us and luckily there was availability that morning. We had a fantastic time getting creative with different wax moulds and colours to make our final candle creations. Sonia was a great instructor - full of obvious love and passion for the craft and very warm and helpful throughout the session. We were stoked with the end results and my daughter has already asked to go back again for another class. Highly recommended as a family or couples activity to spend a few hours being creative and making fun memories together!

From the moment you walk in, the studio has such a fun and whimsical vibe, as did our teacher. You’re given such a wide variety of jars for your candle, colours for wax, moulds for decoration, and scents to choose from. There’s even candle paints and glitter for getting extra creative! The teacher is helpful and knowledgeable, and clearly cares about creating safe candles with materials that aren’t going to burn your house down. My one critique is that the process and full range of materials available for us were a little bit unclear at the start - we ended up learning a lot of what decorating materials we could use through others using them first. That being said, that can be easily fixed with a quick briefing at the start, and any questions we did have were happily answered. We 110% will be back again!

Sonia and Rod both went above and beyond - my husband was sick and could not attend the party, they helped me pack up and Rod even help load the car after the party! When the food was late arriving, Sonia came up with fun games to keep the kids occupied. Sonia and Ron were so warm, funny, and engaging that the kids were completely captivated. The kids especially loved Sonia's purple hair! The kids loved choosing their own scents, colours and moulds for their candles. We couldn’t recommend this more highly for a kids’ birthday party. It was creative, hands‑on, and memorable, one of the best birthday experiences we’ve done. Thank you, Sonia and Rod, for making it so special!

Sonia was so welcoming, and shared her knowledge and art with everyone in the room. Despite there being 10 or so people, not a single one fell short or felt left out. I was able to create a garden style candle and Mum a skull candle, which is her favourite. The variety of candle holders, scents, colours and even the type of candle (Soy, Jell, Whipped etc...) was fantastic. I cant wait to come again!

At Web of Life, we provide a wide range of options for creating your own unique candles.
In this class, we offer a variety of scents, colours, and moulds for you to select from. Our selection includes standard scented soy candles, beeswax taper candles and even dessert-inspired creations with whipped icing wax and fruit and cookie additives. These creations not only look appealing but also smell delightful (although we don't recommend eating, lol).
Enquiries on personal events are welcome, including hen's parties, birthdays, girl get-togethers and baby showers. We are happy to tailor a specialised occasion for you and your friends. Minimum 10 people. This allows you to make 20 candles - extra candles or upgrades to a larger vessel can be purchased on the day.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly. Children aged 7 and above are welcome, and those under 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
