What you'll do
On the search for fun after school activities for kids? During a weekly 90-minute class, each child will spend some time at the pottery wheel and will be assisted by the teacher to create a shape of their choice.
The young artists will also experiment with freely forming the clay to sculpt different objects and will have the opportunity to decorate their work with colourful ceramic paints.
By the end of the class, each child will make a colourful trinket dish with small ornaments of their choice. All our teachers are trained Art Therapists and have WWCC (Working With Children Checks).

What you'll get
Each child will make one pottery piece to take home with them, the clay is an air dry clay with acrylic paints and finishing spray. The piece will not be dishwasher or microwave-safe. Drying time is two to three weeks, you will be notified once the clay is dry for pickup. or take home to dry on the day
What to bring
It is recommended that children wear closed shoes and clothes that they don't mind getting clay on. Aprons are provided but feel free to bring your own.
