Discover how to make handmade alcohol ink Christmas decorations at this hands-on Redland workshop! Spend two hours making a gorgeous set of four ceramic baubles your friends will be envious of.
Cassie of Art by Aquarius will be running this workshop and providing your tuition to help you create gorgeous decorations, she will also provide you with a free guide to continue using alcohol inks at home. Cassie will seal your work on the day to ensure it lasts for many festive periods!
Cassie specialises in creating abstract and functional artworks using alcohol inks and resin. A scientist by trade and creative by nature, Art by Aquarius is the ultimate combination of art and science.
You will learn how to select and blend colours to complement each other and how to use metallics to highlight your work in addition to different techniques to move your inks to create gorgeous effects.
Please note:
- In this workshop we will be using 100 per cent isopropyl alcohol, this class is not recommended for pregnant women and children under 18 years of age.
- Alcohol ink doesn’t wash out of clothing. In case you have a spill so we suggest wearing older or darker-coloured clothing. Aprons will be provided.
