Join us for an exciting introduction to the world of alcohol inks in this special edition class! This method of working on dark backgrounds brings in a whole new avenue to explore and is achievable for beginners and also an extension for more experienced alcohol inkers.
Learn how to use these beautiful products to create gorgeous artwork on Yupo paper as well as your own stunning black aluminium board ready to take home with you. The custom-made cradled boards are ready to hang on the wall, and retail for up to $70 just on their own!
Teagan will teach you various techniques and uses for alcohol inks, discuss safety aspects, how to seal your artworks and help you create gorgeous artworks both on black yupo paper and your stunning board.
As an experienced Senior Art teacher, she will demonstrate techniques and then guide you on your own creative three-hour adventure. Honestly, the time flies as you become mesmerised by the beauty and unpredictability of alcohol inks – and the limitless options!
All materials provided (alcohol inks, yupo paper, custom framed board, markers, latex gloves, apron etc). Professional grade inks and sealants are used in the class, and we also have take-home packs available for purchase if you choose to continue your ink journey.
Please note: Due to the use of methylated spirits, this class is not suitable for pregnant women and children under 16 years of age.
By attending this class you agree to not teach the information provided in a workshop setting after the event.

Her beautiful Northgate studio 'Artist & Maker' is also a gallery and workshop space, with stunning original artwork, greenery, fairy lights and vintage serving ware featured. This space can also be requested for private group bookings of groups over 6 people.
