Janine Delgos is a Visual Artist who works in 3D and 2D media and has a career in art education spanning 35 years. She has valued networking and supporting community connections for both adults and students and assisting others in making pathways through visual art. She has been a designer and facilitator of workshops and visual arts projects in various media, size and scale.
Janine completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Melbourne State College ( now Melbourne University) in 1984 and has taught extensively in Victoria and Queensland within the Education Department for the last 30 years as a Visual Arts teacher. Now her passion is being channelled into her own studio that offers workshops in ceramics, painting, drawing, watercolours, pastels and printmaking.

This was great for my soul. I really enjoyed this class and have already embarked on more mindful art journaling at home. The instructor was an absolute gem and the class size was perfect as was the beautiful setting. Everything was provided and I was able to purchase some supplies to get me started. Awesome class for all levels with a beautiful soul who delivers the class flawlessly. Would recommend for anyone who is stuck in a rut with their art or anyone wanting to dip their toes into the art area’s available.

Received a voucher for Christmas for a beginners pottery wheel class and it was the best gift ever! I’d never done any sort pottery before - Janine was so lovely and helpful! The studio was beautiful, complimentary tea and bickies was great. I can’t wait to go back and glaze my pieces!

Excellent teacher who explained everything really well.
I got just the recording but that still included templates and information sheets that I was able to download.

I arranged a pottery wheel class workshop for my mum and I and it was so much fun! Janine guided us through each step with patience and kindness and we made 3 bowls which we'll go back and glaze in a couple of weeks! It's such a beautiful space and being in Montville was just gorgeous. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills with us, we can't wait to come back! There are so many things we'd love to do, including your water painting workshop and other art classes!

Had an amazing pottery wheel beginner class Saturday in Montville. Janine was the best teacher and made sure we had the most enjoyable experience. Can’t wait to go back and do it again and again. Can’t recommend enough. Take a friend, have a hens part or go alone, it’s a very welcoming space and lots of one on one.

Omg had the best afternoon with my best friend who bought the pottery class as a gift. Janice was amazing very patient and talented lovely lady. So helpful and encouraging. We made 3 small bowls and will be going back to glaze and do another class real soon. Give it a go it is a very creative calming experience with great company and a fantastic teacher.

We really enjoyed our class with Janine. She was very patient and kind allowing us to be fluid with our creativity and express ourselves through our work, whilst guiding us gently so we actually knew what we were doing! A lot of fun and a newfound respect for pottery artists.

Our teach was fantastic. She was welcoming & patient, she is obviously very talented when it comes to art. The venue is really cute with their different art styles on display & multiple working areas. I would highly recommend booking this experience!

I had my first experience today on the pottery wheel and loved every moment. Janine was wonderful - so helpful and friendly. The time went far too fast and this brief 2 hour stint has only whetted my appetite for more. I can't wait to catch up with Janine and expand on what I learnt in this first lesson. The location was perfect, parking close by, clean toilets, large open and environmentally comfortable area to work on the wheels.

Lovely venue, it was a lovely small class, lovely teacher. I went with my daughter (9), our teacher adapted beautiful to make our mummy / daughter activity great fun for us.
I would definitely go again. It is great for friends or couples and Montville is a lovely little town with many walks near by.

I had the best time at the Pottery Class - Janine is so lovely and helpful and jumped straight in to help at any possible time. She is a lovely woman. Materials are provided and she had tea and coffee.

Excellent class for any level of experience. All supplies provided together with take away step by step guide of how complete art pieces at home. Skills and techniques taught enabling attendees to achieve a credible piece of art. Janine provided a friendly relaxed atmosphere with music and refreshments. Would highly recommend this enriching experience.

Had a fantastic time! I arrived with plenty of enthusiasm and zero experience. Our instructor (Janine) was very welcoming and made the class a real pleasure to attend. With her guidance, I went from binning my first attempt to having three finished pieces on the table by the end of the session. Has left me keen to attend more classes in future.

Thanks Janine for the workshop. You made us feel very comfortable and all materials supplied with lots of space. Easy to understand the techniques you showed us and very patient with our different abilities. I learnt some very useful and simple ideas using a variety of tools and mediums. Workshop was great and Janine was so generous with her guidance and support. Had no knowledge of water colours so learnt a lot and produced a lot in the class very enjoyable ambitious timing so many things to try and experiment with . Well set out and all gear there

Fantastic birthday present for my daughter in law. Teacher was outstanding and even provided 3 very beautifully made cupcakes from the bakery downstairs to celebrate Sam's birthday. Way beyond all expectations, for someone like me who does not have an artistic flair, defiantly worth doing and recommend to all who visit the area

What a great morning. My daughter and I had a lovely time. Janine, our teacher was friendly, encouraging, patient and very helpful toward everyone in the class.
The equipment was excellent and the venue in a great location. Got to love Maleny!
We are looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks time to glaze our pots and have another go at the pottery wheel.
I can highly recommend this class to anyone who would like an enjoyable and fun morning learning a new skill.

This was a great and fulfilling experience. The teacher was well prepared, excellent resources and art materials were provided and good direction were given.
The atmosphere was friendly, inviting and safe.
We were provided with everything needed to keep on journalling and we definitely want to do another workshop.

I had such a fantastic time at this class.
Janine was so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in, I went to the class alone but she made me feel very included with the entire group.
I had long acrylic nails which I knew would be a challenge - Janine was super patient and helped me work out the best way to work with the clay and my claws ;D!
We even had refreshments and delicious cakes from the bakery.
The venue was lovely and open and clean, Montville is so picturesque, such a great place to grab a bite and coffee before or after your class. (Depending how clean you stay! I was a messy one but some left spotless!)
We had all the materials we needed and what felt like unlimited clay!
There was a total of 5 people included myself and Janine, I met some really lovely people which made the class even more enjoyable.
I feel that I have all the basics skills to come back alone next time … for basic bowels at least!
The experience was great value for money, I’ll be back for sure!

This class was fantastic. Janine was such a lovely teacher and planned the class very well to make great use of the time, with all materials provided.
Janine started by asking me a few questions to gauge what I was most interested in and guide our direction for the session. She was lovely to chat to and very genuine.
Great value for money as I came away with artworks to take home and lots of tips and techniques to work on.
I would highly recommend this class, great way to spend an afternoon and gave me lots to think about going forward.
