Join us for an Italian cooking class in Brisbane where'll discover the art of making a traditional Italian lunch. Learn to create authentic dishes and enjoy a hands-on experience with your loved ones today.
On the menu:
  • Antipasto (entrée): You are going to prepare the traditional fresh tomato and basil bruschetta and a gourmet variation of it.
  • Primo (main): You’ll learn to prepare traditional Orecchiette and Maccheroni al ferretto pasta, then we’ll show you how to create the traditional Amatriciana sauce.
  • Dolce (dessert): You’ll prepare a recipe from the Piedmont region: Piedmontese peaches – oven-baked with chocolate and amaretti.
Then we’ll cook the pasta and we’ll feast on the bruschetta, the pasta and dessert we have prepared. A glass of Italian wine will be offered to you as Italians do with their friends when they eat together.
At the end of the class you’ll get the recipe book for the class you attended.
Cooking is a matter of ability, passion and love. If you enjoy what you do, your dish turns into something beautiful and tasty. Cooking with other people makes this even better and more enjoyable and fun.
So, let’s start!
Note: All our recipes are hands-on. You’ll be working at your private bench space with a maximum of 14 participants to ensure that every one of you will be well looked after and to maximise your learning and help you to master the necessary skills.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 8 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Recent reviews of Authentic Italian Lunch Class

  • 5/5 from Lucas Patrick Walsh, attended Jan 2026: Was very lovely and Weill be returning for another
  • 5/5 from Melinda Carlisle, attended Mar 2025: A true Italian lunch today in this amazing cooking class, with delicious dishes and precious hours spent in the kitchen with people who have become friends and adventure companions. It was beautiful, fun, and interesting, and on top of learning and enjoying wonderful food, we also got to take home everything we prepared. Tonight, we had a second celebration at home with our kids (they devoured the handmade maccheroni pasta and the chocolate and amaretti studded peaches).Thank you, Sara and Anna – we’ll be back very soon!
  • 5/5 from Emily Rowe, attended Mar 2025: Anna and Sara are so lovely and patient. The food is authentic, delicious and easy to replicate. I cannot recommend this highly enough. We will be back!
  • 5/5 from Nicole Paulina, attended Dec 2024: We had a wonderful time in this fantastic cooking class! We began by preparing two delicious bruschettas: a gourmet version with pears, Gorgonzola, and walnuts, and the classic tomato, garlic, and basil—both were absolutely mouthwatering. Next, we made two types of pasta: maccheroni al ferretto and orecchiette, paired with a rich Amatriciana sauce. For dessert, we crafted Pesche di Piemontese, peaches stuffed with cocoa, amaretti biscuits, and eggs—simply to die for! Sara and Anna were not only amazing teachers but also warm and welcoming hosts. We had such a great experience that we've already booked another class and can’t wait for it! Highly recommended!

CIAO,
We are Anna and Sara, and we would like to tell you about our dream….
Our meeting seemed to us to be a special gift from the stars, a benevolent sign from those who watch over us from above.
An opportunity that ensured two different but deeply similar souls intertwined their destinies, through the sharing of emotions, memories, and experiences; a common thread featuring food in its deepest and most visceral essence. A sort of emotional facilitator, which allowed each of us to tell our story, mirror each other and feel welcome and free to express our imperfect uniqueness.
Our intent is to transmit the knowledge and flavours of Italian traditions through our cooking classes, our passion and our experience as chefs.
We don't believe it's necessary to be a qualified chef with 5-star experience to be great in the kitchen.
We would like to share simple, appetising and replicable recipes with you that nourish your heart and palate and convey emotions and memories.
We organise a range of Italian cooking classes in which we demonstrate and explain what to do and while you cook under our guidance and supervision.
Together, we cook, then eat and taste what has been prepared, accompanied by a glass of Italian wine or a drink that we offer you – just as we would in Italy when friends and guests come to our home.
You’ll get a recipe book for the class you attended so you can replicate any dish whenever you want to – without any doubt or hesitation.
To ensure you're well looked after during your cooking experience, you'll work at your private bench space in a class with a maximum of 12-14 participants.
All recipes are hands-on, meaning you’ll be cooking with us and following our traditional Italian family recipes, using only the highest-quality ingredients. We just ask you to bring your willingness to learn and your biggest smile!
From Friday night feasts to dessert-making experiences, our classes are created to maximise your enjoyment in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere –because we think having fun is the key to living life to the fullest.
Cooking is a matter of ability, passion and love. If you enjoy what you do, your dish becomes something beautiful and tasty. Cooking with other people makes this even more enjoyable and fun.
You know what "origins" means – and we chose this name because we wanted to pay homage to our Italian origins, celebrating the people who gifted us our passion for cooking, food and being in the kitchen. After all, nothing can be created without gratitude and love.
Sara and Anna.
