Your crochet class is taught by an experienced instructor who is excited to share their passion with you.
In this workshop, you will learn how to add beads to your crochet, and you should be able to finish the jar in the lesson time. You will get a written pattern to keep, with instructions for three different size jars. You will be provided with all the materials needed to complete your first jar, other than your crochet hooks.
You will also learn how to adapt the pattern for other jars you might have on hand at home. After this class, you'll be able to upcycle glass jars for adorable lights and handmade gift ideas.

Great for advanced beginner crocheters. As long as you can do basic crochet stitches you will be fine with this project. The only stitches used are chains, single crochet and double crochet.
What you'll get
All the materials needed to complete your jar light.(The ball of yarn provided is enough to make 2 jar lights). A written pattern for making 3 different size jar lights. A drink and finger food at the cafe.
What to bring
Crochet hooks as listed in the description. You will need a 3.5 - 4mm hook for the main part of the jar (whatever you normally use with 8 ply cotton). A larger hook is needed for the starting chain 5mm - 6mm. A smaller hook is also needed to add the beads to your crochet. 1.5mm - 2.5mm.
