  • 5/5 from Andrew McGregor, attended Jul 2026: I enjoyed the intro course. We turned a small chunk of steel into an ultra-sharp Celtic knife. There were 6 of us on the course but there was no ‘traffic jams’ at the kiln or for other equipment. The instructors, Dave and Nick, knew their stuff and were personable as well. Good onya boys for keeping blacksmithing alive.

The knife making blacksmithing class with Nick has opened my eyes to knife creation derived from grit, sweat and pure hard work. His teaching skills are second to none, and his friendly demeanor put us at ease from the moment we walked through the door. This experience has sparked a new hobby and interest for us, and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Nick, for making our special day even more memorable!
