Hello, I’m Sorour.I'm a multidisciplinary artist, bookbinder, and educator based in Canaipa / Russell Island, Qld.With over three decades of experience across Australia, the UK, Iran, and Lithuania, I’ve explored drawing, bookbinding, mixed media, Persian calligraphy, and pattern-drafting. My work has been exhibited internationally, and in 2024 I was a finalist in the Brisbane Portrait Prize, and Redland Art Award.I love teaching as much as creating art. My classes are relaxed, supportive, and designed for beginners and experienced artists alike.
