Gather in the cosy warmth of The Marigold Collective kitchen apothecary for a hands-on, heart-led workshop exploring herbal preparations for the winter season.
In this 2-hour session, you’ll learn to create beautiful, practical botanical blends to support your body and spirit through the colder months:
– Ember Soak – a mineral-rich botanical bath ritual infused with energising herbs and warming energy.
– Warming Herbal Body Oil – a soul-nourishing infusion of herbs, crafted to nourish winter skin.
– Winter Herbal Balm – a supportive herbal balm that melts into skin like firelight.
– Solstice Salt Scrub – a stimulating scrub for winter baths or showers.
Led by a folk herbalist and trained educator, this class blends traditional plant wisdom with modern, approachable techniques. You’ll connect with seasonal rhythms and leave with handcrafted topical creations, plus the confidence to keep crafting at home.
Crafted with care and connection, this workshop honours folk traditions for soul and skin—a journey through plant lore and seasonal ritual, offered in the spirit of learning, not as medical advice or a substitute for professional care. All preparations are for external use only.

Hi, I’m Jennifer – founder of The Marigold Collective, educator-turned-herbalist, and passionate guide for those wanting to reconnect with plant wisdom and slow, seasonal living.
My journey into herbalism began like many beautiful things do – quietly and unexpectedly. After years in the education world as a teacher and school leader, I found myself craving a deeper connection to the natural world. I started brewing infusions, making remedies, and reading old herbal texts – more for curiosity than anything else. But one day, something clicked: this was the healing I didn’t know I needed – and I wanted to share it.
So, I wove my love for education into my growing herbal knowledge, and The Marigold Collective bloomed. What started as a personal practice soon blossomed into a heartfelt business where I now teach herbal workshops, make educational herbal kits, and host seasonal gatherings for curious minds and tender hearts.
Teaching is still my passion – there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone light up with wonder as they discover the story behind a common herb or craft their own healing salve for the first time. I don’t teach from a clinical perspective; I guide, inspire, and spark curiosity. I believe everyone deserves access to ancestral plant knowledge in a way that feels approachable, comforting, and empowering.
Something most people don’t realise? Herbalism isn’t just about remedies – it’s about relationship. With plants, with the seasons, and with ourselves. It’s both ancient and incredibly relevant, especially in our fast-paced world.
I bring almost two decades of experience as an educator to my workshops – I know how to structure a class that feels playful, thoughtful, and meaningful. My workshops are grounded in education, ethics, and joy.
Whether you’re new to plant magic or deep in your own green path, I’d love to gather and craft with you.
