Each piece is uniquely designed and built with purpose.Your Workshop Facilitator:Hi, I’m Brad — founder of AMPLFY.We run hands-on workshops that teach people how to build portable Bluetooth speakers using e-waste materials, including recycled lithium-ion batteries and enclosures made from repurposed ammo boxes. We also proudly partner with Traction to deliver these workshops to disengaged youth.I’m also the co-founder of PowerWells, a social enterprise that repurposes lithium-ion batteries to create home solar systems for communities without access to electricity. We’ve delivered educational workshops in over 36 schools across QLD and NSW, and also facilitate team-building experiences for corporate partners.Our workshops take place at Substation33, a social enterprise and e-waste recycling facility based in Meadowbrook.During the session, you’ll learn how to:

- Build and safely handle battery packs
- Solder components to circuit boards
- Wire and assemble your very own Bluetooth speaker
