What you'll do
Looking for luxurious things to do on the Sunshine Coast? Learn how to make a female torso candle and enjoy picturesque farm views in this unique three-hour class!
From the moment you arrive at the exclusive TANK Bathhouse on the Sunshine Coast, you'll be in creative heaven. Greeted with a drink on arrival, you'll join your group to hear from your host about candle making and how botanicals play an important role in your creations.
Once you're up to speed, you'll take your seat in TANK's custom-made craft school where you'll be introduced to your candle making equipment. You'll be making a female torso candle (21cm high), which you take home at the end of the day. You'll also have the option of purchasing your own set of moulds as part of a DIY candle making kit for those that want to take the experience home with them.
But it's not just learning! You will also get to enjoy a tasty little feast of complimentary gourmet food and alcoholic beverages while having a whole lot of fun in the process.
At the end of the candle making class, you can also take a walk around the farm and see the old train bridge, say hello to the horses or simply enjoy the kilometre of creek front on the property. You're also welcome to purchase entry to the Bathhouse or grab a massage after the class.

Artisan candle making has been in my family for generations. Now that we have a botanical farm and bathhouse on the Sunshine Coast, it makes sense that we add a candle making class for people to learn the art for themselves.
I wanted to create something a bit better than a 'home-based class' run from someone's lounge room or garage. We have setup a beautiful dedicated classroom in our bathhouse where we have a stunning view over our 40 acre farm plus some gourmet taste sensations and alcoholic beverages to make your day an amazing experience to share with those you love.
Our candle making workshop is perfect for groups of people celebrating hens parties, baby showers, birthdays or other events like mothers days or easter. We offer botanical-infused candle making classes that give our clients something truely special and valuable to take home.
