Your teacher

Hi Everyone

My name is Renata and I have been delivering Jewellery Making classes in Brisbane for almost 15 years.

This passion of mine started initially during my studies at Queensland College of Art. Here I was invited to teach the 1st year’s Jewellery & Small Objects courses whilst completing my Master Degree in Visual Art
(Research).

After majoring in Jewellery & Small Objects
in 2014, I founded my studio Lexi de Cora which is currently based in the Tenerife, Brisbane.

Here I deliver private 1o1 classes that allow students to design their own class/workshop structures.
This is also where I design & make my unique jewellery lines as well as produce commission pieces for private clients.

Since 2012 I have also been regularly facilitating short courses and workshops
at Brisbane Institute of Art.

As a jewellery making tutor I as well had took on the opportunity to work with other local organisations, including Flying Arts Alliance, Artisan, Gemworld as well as
TAFE Gold Coast.

I truly enjoy sharing my skills with people from various backgrounds, no previous experience included.

There is a wonderful array of creative group workshops I have prepared to share with you all here on ClassBento, starting with the absolutely mesmerising Charcoal Casting Workshop!
