Crave School of Inspired Learning

Over 20 years ago, Andrew & Robin began and developed a very successful natural cosmetic, perfume, candle and soap making business called Planet Yum. During this time they developed and held many different classes & trained 100s of people to make their own natural products. Andrew and Robin want to share their extensive knowledge and make it available to others. They love teaching, and so, the idea of the Crave School for Inspired Learning was born. We offer a variety of ‘creative experiences’ for people with no prior learning, resulting in their personal sense of satisfaction and fulfilment. Our style is fun, casual, learning that satisfies your craving for knowledge; whether that be baking French patisserie, making pasta, bread and dough or, making expert scented candles, custom perfumes & cosmetics, natural soap, astrology, chocolate making, and cupcake decorating are so popular.
Our Mission is to promote joy by fostering creativity that brings a sense of fun, purpose, direction, and ultimately meaning to people’s lives. Our goal is to guide our students through their chosen subject(s), addressing their individual learning styles, so they leave at the end of the day with a great sense of satisfaction and personal fulfilment. This is our highest priority.
Robin has a natural teaching ability and has adept skills in handling large social groups while giving individual attention to everyone. His natural charm lightens the room and lifts the spirit which make his role as a Crave School facilitator perfect. The desire to get serious about baking was always bubbling under the surface. Robin and his Grandfather come from generations of British bakers and he especially loves the intricacies of baking Macarons and other French Patisserie.
Andrew achieved a Bachelor Degree in Communications at The University of Western Sydney which aroused his interest in behavioural psychology. He also later completed Diploma level studies in Astrology (Astropsychology) at the College of Humanistic Astrology in Gladesville under Principal Alia Ryder. Andrew went on to deepen his Astrological studies and together with Robin learned & are qualified Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) as a way of facilitating personal growth and successful relating. Their teachers Dr. Mahni Dugan MA (SocEcol) (vale), and Geoff Dugan (Bsc), made it possible for Andrew to work professionally as an Astrologer in Tokyo, Japan for ten years, where he held high acclaim. Andrew is also a keen cook, and growing up under the influence of a southern Italian family connection, food was always a feature, especially fresh pasta, pizza and bread which he loves to make.
