  • 5/5 from Karen O, attended Dec 2025: The teacher was very friendly and welcoming. It was a small class which meant plenty of help if you needed. I enjoyed the relaxing, creative environment. Thank you. I was gifted a voucher and had no problems transacting that into a wonderful experience.
  • 5/5 from Leonie Follett, attended Nov 2025: Was a fun class making Christmas themed soaps. Miran was very helpful and friendly. Throughly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Kerry-Ann Munro, attended Nov 2025: I shared another wonderful morning creating Christmas soap with Miran. Each time I work with Miran I learn more and more soapmaking tips and tricks that I hadn't thought of. Being a 1-1 class I had the opportunity to ask lots of questions. I can't wait to see how my new Christmas soap turns out. So many soap designs to make and not enough time.
  • 5/5 from Cindy Maree Irons, attended Nov 2025: What a lovely morning, thankyou so much for a very informative class. It was one on one and I learnt so much about soap making. can't wait to see my finished product and will definitely rebook
  • 5/5 from Amber Winter, attended Nov 2025: Miran was very helpful and creative. We were able to make our Santa soaps and she stepped us through the whole process. We were able to pick our own colours and scents. My partner and I enjoyed the whole experience.
  • 5/5 from Kerry-Ann Munro, attended Oct 2025: I really, really loved this soap making class. The communication from Miran in the week before the class was very helpful. I felt like I knew Miran before I'd met her. It was very easy to find the location and Miran had everything set up and ready to go beforehand. There were two participants in the class so we had help straight away when we needed it. Miran was very welcoming, supportive and approachable and I would definitely like to participate in another one of her classes in the future. I can't wait to see what my Christmas soap looks like once it has cured.

Hi, My name is Miran and I’m a Brisbane-based Design Soap Maker, and I’ve been crafting soaps for several years now.
With a background in Fashion Design from university, I’ve always loved creating with my hands ever since I was little.
While I work full-time in an office, I’ve always had side projects that fuel my passion, like my little Etsy shop where I made tutus for many years. But my true passion has always been about creating something meaningful and the products that are eco-friendly, sustainable, and plastic-free.
I love animals, natures and enjoy bushwalking with my two furry girls, Minto and Maple. I care deeply about the environment, and that passion naturally led me to the art of soap making but not just any soap.
Design Soap!
Every bar is inspired by the ancient art of soapmaking. The Babylonians were among the first to create soap over 4, 000 years ago, using natural oils and ash to cleanse and care for the skin.
At Babylon Soap, we carry on that timeless tradition using the cold process method, which closely mirrors those early techniques.
Each of my soaps is handcrafted using only plant-based oils and completely free of palm oil and synthetic surfactants, so they’re kind to both your skin and the environment. Every soap I make tells a story through its design. They’re not just soaps, they’re little pieces of sustainable art.
Since switching to handmade soap bars, I’ve cleared out almost all plastic bottles from my home. No more hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser, or dish liquid in plastic containers.
It’s amazing how much waste we can reduce with just one small change.
Whether you're seeking a moment of indulgence for yourself something beautiful, thoughtful, or better for the planet or searching for the perfect gift for a loved one, Babylon Soap has you covered.
