I am Gilly, a polymer clay artist and educator based in Brisbane. I came across polymer clay quite accidentally around 10 years ago and fell in love with the medium.

I also have a 3D printing clay tools side kick which I started around 6 years ago and am proud to say that I was one of the very first (if not the first) in Australia to design and print 3D tools for polymer clay artists and have been selling around the world since then. We have a farm of printers which run pretty much every day.

I have been a teacher for most of my life in the IT industry, and during more recent years a teacher of polymer clay at various locations across Australia and mostly in Brisbane.

I am here to share my love of polymer clay and 3D printing and am looking forward to sharing my knowledge to with you.

Just want to say what a great class, I have been wanting to try polymer clay for so long.

Gill is a fabulous teacher her communication skills are exceptional and her organisation of her materials and she took care that everyone had exactly what they needed through out the class. We had a lady with a physical impairment and Gill was quick to realise she needed safer tools to use. I highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to try polymer clay.

Informative.
several types of beads demonstrated.
Recording supplied so this made it easier to review later and to reinforce points.
clear instructions, demonstration easy to view, able to ask questions, LOVE the dog!
Time passed quickly.
I like to watch and take notes then make beads if unsure. If no in depth knowledge I like to take my time when making as listening, thinking , watching and doing can filter out my concentration on the practical.

Gill is very knowledgeable and presents the information in an easy to learn, enjoyable and fun manner. The class moves along at the perfect pace so that you can either view only or work alongside. The only small tweak I would suggests is that the camera be brought closer to the work table. Gill will bring the bead closer upon completion of each step however.

've done a few of Gill's workshops and she always does a great job of explaining her process and showing us how it's done. She also shares lots of hints and tricks and there's plenty of time for questions as you go. This workshop was really fun and the hollow bead I made during the workshop turned out beautifully. It was lovely to see you Gill and participate in your zoom workshop. Zoom is a great way to bring people together for workshops and you did so well for your first time.
As I live in an area where internet connectivity is sporadic, my pc wouldn’t connect so I used my phone which then lost battery before the class ended. My first zoom workshop too, so lesson learned about the charger.
It wouldn’t been lovely to have intros at the beginning as workshop encourage beautiful connections between makers.
Your instruction was clear and concise and the fact you checked in regularly made me feel included and not just a face on a screen, so well done Gill.
I loved the workshop and will rewatch the recording to finish off what I missed. I really enjoyed it Gill, so thank you and congratulations. Karin x

I had a fabulous time. I really enjoyed your very personal approach, the class felt like a group of friends getting together and doing some serious work.
