About this venue
Cook studio is a flexible space featuring a coffee bar and cooking class studio kitchen separated by sliding glass doors. We designed the space to allow a relaxed way to discover what we do. Our coffee bar serves coffee, tea, drinks, and a selection of house-made items.Open Monday to Friday, 8am–12pm, Saturday 9am-1pm. Stop by to enjoy a coffee, explore our space, and see what we offer.Our studio kitchen is designed to host a range of class styles — from interactive demonstrations to hands-on cooking sessions, group events, private functions, and watch-and-dine experiences. It features a domestic-style kitchen within a flexible, adaptable space.

At Cook Studio, our aim is simple: to help people feel confident in the kitchen and cook better food at home.
Our classes focus on practical, everyday cooking skills — from essential techniques through to impressive, dinner-party-worthy dishes. Whether you're learning the basics or expanding your repertoire, we want cooking to feel enjoyable, approachable, and something you can confidently recreate in your own kitchen.
Cook Studio is run by a mother-daughter team, Jane and Annalise, combining a shared passion for cooking with experience in teaching, hospitality, and food.
Jane originally began her career in industrial law and HR before following her passion for food and education. With a Masters in Training and Development, teaching has always been central to what she does. Over the years, that passion moved into the kitchen, leading her to write a cookbook, run cooking classes overseas, private catering, write a food blog, and qualify as a nutrition coach.

Annalise brings a background in café management, hospitality, and events. Following in her mum’s footsteps, she has a genuine love of cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. She’s always testing new recipes, playing with flavours, and finding ways to make cooking both exciting and accessible.
Together, we’ve created Cook Studio as a warm, hands-on space where people can learn new skills, ask questions, and enjoy the process of cooking.
We love teaching because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone master a new technique and realise that cooking can actually be fun — not intimidating.
