Couples Clay Workshop: Clay-zy in Love

Create small dishes, plaques, impressions and message tiles in preparation for Valentine's Day

3 hours Class size 1 to 12 guests

$60 (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Clay-zy in Love isn't about perfect pottery. It's about shared fingerprints, soft touches, laughter, and the magic of making something special together. Clay remembers touch—every press, imprint, and etched mark becomes a record of connection.
This is a different kind of Valentine's experience—unhurried, tactile, and gently intimate. You're not sitting across a table searching for conversation. Your hands are busy, minds can wander, and conversation can flow naturally while the clay does the listening.
You are not making separate pieces side-by-side—you're creating things together. Sharing ideas, embracing the wonky moments, and creating magic together. You'll leave having created more than objects; you'll leave with memories that have weight, texture, and meaning—something made with someone you love, not just for them.

Hi I'm Elle and welcome to Colour My Pot, a whimsical and creative studio located in the beautiful Redlands Coast. After 15 years in medical pathology, I found myself craving something more alive - connecting with people using creativity rather than data. Through an opportunity in late 2023, I was able to purchase the paint-your-own pottery studio that has always felt home to me.
I realised soon enough that the studio provided a safe place for people to slow down and create without pressure. Whether it's a pre-schooler proudly painting their first mug or an adult rediscovering play, I love seeing the spark when imagination takes over.
I have always believed that creativity is a language that everyone speaks, even if they aren't aware of it. Watching someone arrive stating "I'm not artistic" and leave holding something they're genuinely proud of - that brings the magic for me. It's not just paint and pottery, it is creativity, calm and connection.
I don't hide the fact that I'm neurodivergent and it is one of my most creative assets. It means that I can see the world in patterns, colours and possibilities. The studio provides a safe, sensory-friendly space where everyone can be themselves and let the art do its quiet healing work.
See you in the studio!
